Another Round is a fanfic of The Sakabashira Game written by IAmHoussem17 and published on FanFiction.Net and Archive of Our Own.
The fic is an exploration of how things would have gone if some things were different from characterization to roles to relations. It's also meant to improve on the flaws of the game.
Another Round provides examples of the following tropes:
- Adaptational Heroism: Ceci is less complicit in running the Sakabashira Game and eventually tries pulling a Heel–Face Turn to help the players escape.
- Adaptational Jerkass:
- Alex is changed from a full-on Nice Guy to a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
- The Host has a condescending streak despite remaining fairly polite.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Evan goes from a Hate Sink Jerkass to a more amicable guy who doesn't hesitate to help the others with his smarts.
