Animation 501 (sometimes credited as Studio 501) was a Japanese animation studio founded in 1983 by Hiroshi Ogawa, who left Tsuchida Production as the studio was struggling. Ogawa later left his company to do work for Walt Disney Animation Japan and Shin-Ei Animation.
The studio hasn't worked on a project since 1997.
