  • Action Survivor: Whatever happened exactly in her timeline, it clearly led to her being the only one of her friends and family to survive and she has the instincts needed to survive. This actually becomes a bit of a problem as she has to adapt from the war-torn times of her future to the more peaceful times she is now in.
  • Conveniently an Orphan: Obviously in the original timeline she is not this as her parents were brutually murdered by Voldemort, but the Riddles pass her off as the orphan of a friend of the Riddle's explaining why she now lives in the Riddle household.

Actually Marius Black, he is saved by his original timeline fate by the Riddles and Hermione and proceeds to take on the new name of Mark Grey, living as a muggle.

  • Conveniently an Orphan: Not really, of course, since both his parents are alive. But he pretends to be one from Australia to explain why he's suddenly being raised by the Riddles.
  • Fakingthe Dead: As a squib, Mark would have been killed by his biological family, the Blacks in the original timeline. Tom provides him with a feather portkey allowing him to escape this fate but thanks to some help from Hermione, he is able to fake his death meaning his family won't come after him.
  • Muggle Bornof Mages: As a squib, he is this.

He does seem to get over his dislike of Muggleborns with time though especially being exposed to Hermione. Despite his continued prejudice against muggles, however, he is nevertheless affable and means is clearly passionate about helping people and other werewolves.
