RISE

Hiyori Hayama

A second-year high school student who is a singer-songwriter and leader of RISE.

Balance, Speed, Strength Trio: The Speed to Sumika's Strength and Saki's Balance among the original trio. Unusual for someone of this type, though, her speed is not indicative of being Weak, but Skilled. She is a newcomer to the world of sports and her natural speed is her greatest asset, but she is completely unpolished.
Determinator: Extremely determined to be a musician, to the point she's willing to become an athlete in order to keep performing as one.
The Rookie: The rest of RISE have plenty of athletic experience, while the Extreme Hearts tournament is her first gig.

Saki Kodaka

A second-year middle school student who has played soccer since elementary school. She is good friends with Hiyori, and is a huge fan of her songs.

Ascended Fangirl: Of Hiyori. She starts out as a fan of her songs, but then befriends her and even goes on to sing on stage with her as part of RISE.
Balance, Speed, Strength Trio: The Balance to Hiyori's Speed and Sumika's Strength. As she specializes in soccer, it's only natural that she packs both power and speed.
Broken Ace: Was the ace of her soccer team. However, she was the only one who was truly serious about it. The rest of the team was just there to have fun and didn't have the ambition Saki had. When Saki started pushing them to be more serious, they left one by one, leaving Saki so heartbroken that she quit herself. She has to get over her guilt and her fear of doing the same to Hiyori when she joins RISE.
Like Brother and Sister: With Sumika, her neighbor who is three years older.
Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She may be small, but her soccer prowess is no joke.
Tall Poppy Syndrome: Because she was so much better and more serious about soccer than the rest of her teammates, they came to resent her.

Sumika Maehara

A second-year high school student who played baseball up until her last year of middle school. She is neighbors with Saki.

Balance, Speed, Strength Trio: The Strength to Hiyori's Speed and Saki's Balance. She is by no means slow, but her sport was baseball and she played pitcher, which is much less demanding for speed than other sports. It's downplayed, but she still lacks the speed that Hiyori and Saki have.
Friendly Rival: To the other groups, Sumika tends to be the first to reach out and befriend them, even glomping the notably sour Ri N of Ban Shee at the summer program.
Like Brother and Sister: With Saki, her neighbor who is three years younger.
