King Joker

     Joker

The one and only Clown Prince of Crime, the self-coronated King Joker now rules Gotham from the center of a carnival atmosphere set in Gotham City Hall, laughing his way through the interminable wait for the return of the Dark Knight...

  • Bad Boss: As is typical, Joker tends to severely punish underlings for no other reason than to amuse himself. One of his favorite pastimes is sending those who offend him into the sewers to be hunted by Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy. If they manage to escape, they’re welcomed back into the fold… but more likely than not they’ll be tossed right back in for breaking another rule Joker conveniently forgot to tell anyone.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: As with many other incarnations of the Clown Prince of Crime, Joker places a lot of stock in his rivalry with Batman, and the Caped Crusader’s disappearance has him frantically searching for ways to occupy his time and come to grips with what the future may bring.
  • For the Evulz: At the moment, Joker has no longer objective at play other than to keep tedium at bay and stimulate himself with ever present conflict.
  • Gang of Hats: As usual, a straightforward Monster Clown and Circus of Fear aesthetic, though he’ll accept anyone who takes the time to look suitably outlandish.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Each of Joker’s three closest lieutenants represent a central aspect of his personality across many different incarnations of his character, inspired partially by the depiction as seen in Batman: Three Jokers.

     Harley Quinn

Joker's original squeeze and number one girl, Harley has forced herself to accept that another woman is now involved in Mr. J's life.

  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: This time, Harley is still the ever-devoted lover of her dear Joker. Unfortunately for her, she also has to deal with Punchline attempting to crowd her out.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Harley is the Clown, the second lieutenant introduced chronologically and the one representing eccentric mayhem and maniac bombast.

     Punchline

Once a Joker fangirl with delusions of love, now the newest girl on Joker's arm has seized her chance to laugh as the world burns.

  • Rule of Symbolism: Punchline is the Comedian, the youngest figuratively as well as literally, and representing cold, nihilistic sadism.

     Bob

The only number one guy, Bob and his crew have been tasked with enforcing "order" in Joker's kingdom. Meaning they go out and light up whoever their boss decides is too much trouble.

  • Rule of Symbolism: Bob is the Criminal, the oldest and most practical lieutenant, preferring results to showmanship.
