Class 79b

     Yuki Maeda

  • The Cynic: Yuki. He is even described as such in the about section of the blog. His first posts in the prologue even detail a daydream where all of his new classmates commit violence against him, where even in the ideal situation of getting into a fantastic school based on luck alone doesn't ease his belief that it will all go to hell.
  • The Everyman: Like his canon counterpart, Maeda embodies this trope. He's just an average, if not cynical guy surrounded by 14 not-so-average classmates.

     Kiyoka Maki

     Mitsuhiro Higa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/higa_0.png
  • Armoured Closet Gay: Higa has often been homophobic to the rest of the cast, yet Word of God confirms he's actually gay, though he hasn't realized it.
  • Jerkass: Higa to a T. He never has anything nice to say about his classmates as he sees them as inferior, he's misogynistic and homophobic, and his response to his classmates dying is to mock others for mourning the dead.
  • Kick the Dog: Seems to be a pastime for him.
    • In the prologue, he kicks Kobashikawa repeatedly in order to get him to speak, not understanding that it wouldn't even work, and never expressing remorse.
    • When Tsurugi comes to his room, warning him his attitude was likely going to get himself killed, he brushes off the cop's advice and instead lunges for Tsurugi's hearing aid, pulling it out (Luckily, due to his strength, Tsurugi knocks Higa down and retrieves it).

     Kizuna Tomori
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kizuna_5.png
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Tomori is this, a pink-haired girl who bonds easily with the rest of the group.

     Ayame Hatano
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ayame_51.png
  • Genki Girl: Hatano is an over-excitable girl who's overflowing energy overwhelms those around her.

     Kanata Inori

     Kakeru Yamaguchi

     Satsuki Iranami

     Yamato Kisaragi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yamato_3.png
  • The Ghost: While Yamato's been referenced a few times, he's yet to make an appearance, mirroring his canon counterpart.

     Mikako Kurokawa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mikako.png
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Averted with Kurokawa, unlike her canon counterpart. Even though she fits the trope appearance-wise, with her height and black hair, Kurokawa is kind, almost like a big sister to the rest of the cast.

     Akane Taira

     Teruya Otori

     Rei Mekaru
