Professor Edward Ozpin (Second Version)
The hero of legend's incarnation as Beacon Headmaster in the current version of Remnant. Ozma's Iconic Weapon, as in canon, is The Long Memory, a cane that stores energy from his attacks for later use in magic casting. But it's later implied, then revealed that this weapon is far more than it appeared to be.
- Cool Car: When he first shows up in the new timeline in Chapter 9, it's in a very old Valen luxury sedan with six wheels.
- Cool Teacher: As in canon.
- Drowning My Sorrows: Implied to be a functional alcoholic during Chapter 14.
- The Gadfly: His canonical slight mischievous streak is exaggerated a little. Justified, as he's a lot older than his canon counterpart and just utterly bored.
- I Did What I Had to Do: Subverted in Chapter 14 during a conversation with Glynda, though it's implied he was slightly drunk at the time."The ends do not justify the means. The means simply are."
- Immortal Immaturity: In places, mostly due to the fact he's lived through these events twice and is just utterly broken and bored.
- Peggy Sue: Established during the first chapter of Before the Whims of Fate to be one of these, which sets up most of the changes to the greater AU.
- Troll: Referred to as "Trololozpin" by the author, and his personality matches.
