Vicki Lawrence (NBC, 1987-89)
- After Vicki gave a hint that numbers weren't allowed as clues, a teammate blurted out 101 Dalmatians before the timer started.Vicki: I HAVEN'T STARTED THE CLOCK!
- As stated on the main page, originally the bonus round had no cap on winnings. Within a month of its debut, a winning team (during a brief period where teams played) got 10 straight words for $25,600.
Bert Convy (Syndicated, 1987-89)
- On one episode, Convy announced that the contestant had to convey the name of a radio show. The contestant picked up a green marker and barely even had it to the paper before one of his teammates blurted out the correct answer of The Green Hornet.
