Awesome / Trouble with the Curve

• When Mickey confronts Gus for having her live with her uncle, she calls him a coward. Instead of angering him, it pierces his armor, leading to his finally opening up to her. Let that sink in. Amy Adams—sweet, lovable Princess Giselle—calls the mighty Clint Eastwood a coward to his face. And gets away with it.
• When a guy Mickey's shooting pool with starts getting handsy...Gus starts giving him a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, then gives him a classic Clint Eastwood snarl-whisper challenge as he pins the man against the wall.
  • Johnny to his credit assists nicely, helping Mickey pull Gus back while at the same time letting the punk know he's on Gus's side, in "Good Cop/Bad Cop" fashion.
• Mickey effectively telling the firm that pushed her aside for promotion to shove it in the ending sequence by throwing the phone away. For Gus's part, he's already arranged that his daughter has her choice of prospects involving the Braves.
