  • Perhaps the most riveting part of this scene is the subversion of Mook Chivalry. While the gang does occasionally attack Rama one at a time, they will often gang up on him and try to keep him from splitting them up. This leads to an absolutely gorgeous overhead shot of Rama beating down two members of the gang at once.
• Rama fighting a bunch of mooks using a baton and knife combination.
  • Any physical fight Rama is in is pretty much guaranteed to be this.
    • Any physical fight, period.
• Rama using an LPG gas tank and refrigerator as an improvised shaped charge.
• Rama hiding inside a dry-wall with a machete slicing through his cheek and ear, waiting in deadly silence for its owner to come back for it.
• The fight between Jaka and Mad Dog. Despite losing, Jaka still put up an impressive fight.
  • Similarly, Jaka taking down an opponent via three point-blank pistol rounds to the face.
  • One for Yayan Ruhian — despite being positively dwarfed by Joe Taslim, the sheer charisma and intensity he brings to the role mean that he seems like a credible, dangerous opponent.
• The final fight between Rama and Andi against Mad Dog. After a long grueling series of blows, Mad Dog is actually winning against both of them at once. Even after Andi stabs his neck with a broken light tube, Mad Dog is still able to put up some fight until he bleeds out.
