While not literally his last film,^note  He finished his career with a quartet of low-budget Mexican horror films for co-directors Jack Hill and Juan Ibáñez; two were released in 1971, two years after his death. it offered the perfect coda to his lengthy career, and despite his advanced age and frail physical condition, he essentially shot the thing for free.
