Josh vs. The Apocalypse, Part I

  • Josh versus the Golf Team. Josh's sword is stuck in Golf Captain Terry's hand, taking Terry out of the fight but leaving Josh effectively weaponless. The four other Golfers rush him, and Josh kicks their assess. He uses Terry as a human shield, ducks and dodges their attacks, smashes them into each other, and generally fights exactly like you're supposed to against multiple opponents, despite it being obvious Josh has no idea what he's doing and is just reacting on instinct. One of the most impressive moments is him ducking to avoid an attack, shoving out his fist, and connecting with a Golfer's groin.

Homecoming Redux or My So Called Double Agent Life

  • Loud music would attract Ghoulies to the mall, so Homecoming has to find some way around that problem. We see all the kids dancing to loud music, having a great time, then a cut. . . and everything's silent except for their footsteps and the squeaking of shoes. The music comes back, and arrows helpfully point at their headphones and earpieces, with Bluetooth icons. Josh, with some help from KJ, got everyone networked so they can listen to the music in silence.

     Canta Tu Vida
  • In this episode, the Cheermazons really prove their mettle as a tribe that means business, as we see Angelica (and by extension, Ms. Crumble) going through their induction process. When Crumble brings the second trial to a halt by exposing herself in the arena, the Triumvirate reconvened to decide how to handle her, prompting the potential recruits to cast votes on her fate. As they do so, Victoria reveals that everyone who participated had failed, leaving Angelica (the sole dissident) as the single recruit who passed. The Triumvirate effortlessly flipped an unforeseen circumstance (like a half-Ghoulie "witch" slipping past their defenses) into one of their standard initiation tests, exemplifying their first lesson of holding smarts and critical thinking above blind allegiance in the process.

Josh vs. The Apocalypse, Part II

  • Baron Triumph/Burr takes out Turbo with surprising ease, going as far as no-selling an axe to the chest and responding to it by slamming Turbo's head against the axe stuck in him. If there were doubts of Triumph being the true Big Bad, they were erased here swiftly.
