Percy gets close to Jason, scaring him almost to death and giving him a whiff of his bad breath (which is reminiscent of Grover's), which is apparently caused by eating humans. Jason is especially sad to see this, because Percy used to be a Prayer Warrior who killed Zeus and Hades.
Percy says that I'll Kill You!, but after a moment, clarifies that the "you" is not Jason, but Zeus, declaring that Jupiter failed to "pain wash" him and now will suffer. Jupiter gives another Evil Laugh before departing. Jason vows to kill Jupiter, and Jupiter sarcastically comments on his promise.
Apparently, Annabeth somehow survived the attack, and the Washington group of Jerry, Piper and Leo, defeated the rest of the Roman gods offscreen. One Roman goddess, near death, asks for forgiveness in her dying moments, saying that Jupiter tricked her. The narrator agrees, and the Roman godddess, with her last breaths, reveals that Jupiter is going to "New Delta" in India to release even worse demons, and then dies. The narrator reveals that he lied, and that pretending to be a god put her beyond forgiveness, and that the atheists, who do the same, will suffer the same fate. Not only are the Prayer Warriors murderous bigots, but they've also taken to lying to their enemies.
The Prayer Warriors arrive in "New Delta" and find "Satanic hindu scum" all around them.
