I normally love pandas, but not one in this episode...
"Panda-Monium"
Mickey has arrived at the Beijing Zoo to take a few pictures of the animals when he comes across a cute baby panda. Mickey desperately wants a photo of the little fella, but the baby panda has other ideas. So the panda annoys him to no end, he undergoes physical abuse (including both eyes getting black), and the mother panda takes him as her baby because his eyes were black, and what does Mickey get punished for? Wanting to take a photo of the panda. Wow. Yet again, the plot tries to say “Laugh at this worthless character's torture folks, you know you want to”. And that is NOT going to happen. Mickey did NOT deserve to be punished for this and the panda isn't the sympathetic character, HE IS. This is not having a sense of humour, it's being spiteful! Wait a minute…this sounds familiar… (looks over at the "Let's All Beat Up QB" club in Pixiv note ) Huh, so that’s why the Kyuubey hatedom is such garbage then. And anyway, the episode tries to manipulate the viewers into laughing at Mickey even though anybody knows that Mick is in the right and that he doesn’t deserve this Torture Porn. Once again, they make Mickey look like a nothing and the other characters are victims. All the more reasons why some episodes in this show fail so badly at what they are. Oh, and to top it off, the little bastard gets away with what he did and even takes a photo of Mickey. GAAAAAAHHH!!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!
