* IntendedAudienceReaction: The [[DudeWheresMyRespect lack of respect]] and trust the bears face in their day do day lives deliberately reflects the struggles of [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer]], right down to irrational responses from humans in episodes such as "Cupcake Job".

** Some fans are split on whether they enjoy the [[WholeEpisodeFlashback baby bear episodes]] or not. On one hand, they're a fun look into the bear's childhood before they settled down and it's nice to see them helping people around the world; on the other, they're easy to forget due to the lack of recurring characters that the present day episodes have, and the fact that Season 4 has much more of them than the previous seasons does not help (though this may be due to ExecutiveMeddling).

Wasn't intended as dramatic, so can't be Narm.

* {{Narm}}: Demetri Martin's delivery is just a bit off during Ice Bear's spontaneous rap in "I Am Ice Bear". So when Ice Bear sings 'Hey baby girl, you look beautiful like bobba; I ain't trying to front, baby, let me come over' to a trio of a girls, his rhymes sound [[PrecisionFStrike a lot more naughty]] than they were probably intended to be. The fact that the girls quickly blush during his verse only helps to make the mind wander.

** The theme song.
** Some of the background music can count as well.
** "I'll Be Your Friend" from "Panda's Date".
** [[ShowWithinAShow The Corgis]]' theme song. No wonder Nom Nom snapped after being forced to listen to it for several takes.

** Another background character: the young man with brown hair and wears a red shirt, jeans, and sandals. He was one of the campers in "Primal", seen kicking Panda's chair in "Shush Ninjas", on the video on Panda's phone in "My Clique", and high-five'd Grizzly in "Tote Life". Nameless, he's referred to as "Sandal Guy".

* SugarWiki/SweetDreamsFuel: TheSeries. The whole show is just so good-natured and (mostly) innocent, with star characters who clearly love one another and [[IJustWantToHaveFriends want nothing more than to have friends]], that it's hard not to smile while watching it.

** The more the audience learns about Charlie's background, the more tragic his character starts to seem. Charlie is the mythical bigfoot, a redneck cryptid who's spent most of his life wandering from place to place, looking for a friend. Charlie can never stay in one place for too long, because if the humans discover his existence they usually try to hunt him down and profit off him, and they've only grown more dangerous to the Sasquatch over the years as their technology has advanced. Compounding that, [[spoiler: Charlie apparently has a very long lifespan, longer than any other living creature on Earth, so even if he does find a friend, he always inevitably outlives them]]. Charlie gets on well with the woodland critters that live in San Fransico's forests, but the only sapient friends he has are the bear brothers.

* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: Believe it or not, when the first season was airing, Charlie was a lot of people's least favorite character for his constant rude and pushy behavior, making the bears feel uncomfortable in many of his appearances. As the series progressed, Charlie's HiddenDepths, his good, loyal heart, and his somewhat tragic nature as the only one of his kind was revealed, causing the fandom's opinion of him to do a full 180. By seasons 3 and 4, Charlie had become a fan favorite recurring character like Ranger Tabes, partly because of shippers pairing him with Panda.

* CounterpartComparison:
** Tying in with FriendlyFandoms below, fans like comparing the Bears as the male counterparts of [[WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse the Crystal Gems]]. Ice Bear's ComicallySerious demeanour and being the most competent and level-headed of his group has led to a few comparisons between him and Garnet. Grizzly's brash and boisterous nature, his love of food and a tragedy in his childhood has led to him being compared to Amethyst. And Panda's {{Adorkable}} personality and prone to nervousness (not to mention that he's rather lovelorn, or "thirsty" for love) has led several comparisons to Pearl.
** Ice Bear and this other character are both the quiet and stoic brother. They don't speak much but when they do, it's worth it. They shown to have HiddenDepths. They are intelligent, multi-talented, and shown to be 'Men of Action'. [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb Sound familiar?]]
** Ice Bear (again) has a stoic and eccentric personality and is a SupremeChef, which led to some comparisons with a [[Manga/ShirokumaCafe certain other polar bear with similar characteristics.]]
** Let's see: an AsianAndNerdy ChildProdigy accompanied by a BadassAdorable chubby white friend in a San Francisco setting. Chloe and Ice Bear, or [[Disney/BigHero6 Hiro and Baymax?]]
** Nom Nom acts and looks quite a bit similar to Belson Noles from ''WesternAnimation/{{Clarence}}'', another Creator/CartoonNetwork series.
** The bears are often compared to three bear ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}''; Ursaring, Beartic and Pangoro.
** Grizzly and Nom Nom: a cheerful, fun-loving NiceGuy who is an unwanted acquaintance to a stuck-up jerk with a HairTriggerTemper and a big nose. [[WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants Doesn't that seem familiar?]]

This doesn't seem to be in good faith. It's also not necessarily a display of an acceptable target. That and the troper who made it has a history of edits of similar caliber which were all cleaned up or axed.

* AcceptableTargets: Many of the antagonists in the series tend to be a young adult man... and nearly ''every male young adult'' character tends to be evil or unsympathetic in some way. There are exceptions like Nom Nom (a koala of an unspecified age), Ralph (a Sasquatch of an unspecified age), animals such as wolves, cougars, pigeons and dogs, Mrs. Chang (an old lady), Ranger Zhao and the Ivy Rangers, and Ari Curd (all females) as far as antagonists go. In terms of good guys, there's Nate, one of the few people who actually befriended the bears as babies, and El Oso, who was Charlie's very first human friend back in 1913.
