** A lot of videos that feature Spoony going berserk can be hard to watch after knowing that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Not to mention that many of Spoony's older videos feature running gags suggesting that he is mentally unbalanced, requiring frequent psychiatric care and doses of "anti-crazy pills."

** His breakdown in general. If another producer is a little mean in a fan's eyes, entitled to it or not, they'll be told that they're going down the Spoony route.

** Him stating that he wanted to spend less time on Website/{{Twitter}} to focus more on his videos, when yet in reality the complete opposite has happened.

* SeinfeldIsUnFunny: Spoony was considered one of the top tiers in the "Angry Reviewer" style of content creators, and was unquestionably one of the most well known internet content creators for his time. Years later, and his content isn't seen as all that entertaining by people due to the same genre becoming seen as having run its course, and his humor often it becomes cringy or just unfunny. At best some of his skits are amusing for the time, but the quality of his work no longer is seen as impressive by many.

* VindicatedByHistory:
** ''Wrestle Wrestle'' and ''Counter Monkey'' were often criticized by Spoony's fanbase when they were released. Many of Spoony's viewers weren't fans of wrestling or ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' and they saw his two side series as taking away from time that he could have spent working on his main reviews. In recent years vlogs, podcasts and edited reviews on wrestling and tabletop games have exploded in popularity and some of said reviewers have cited Spoony as being a partial inspiration on the content they produce.

* UncannyValley: He invokes this in TheStinger of ''Highlander Last of the [=McClouds=]'' with a close up of Quenton's face, and it's hard to argue with him.

* ValuesDissonance: His jokes about "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec" translating to "Real gay real gay sissy gay sissy gay, gay gay gay gay" and how Creator/SquareEnix character designs "looked feminine" were only acceptable in the TurnOfTheMillennium and TheNineties when using "Gay" as an insult or insulting a man for looking feminine was much more accepted. The jokes about feminine male characters has also entered it in a different way: femboys have gained a lot of mainstream popularity in the end of the 2010s and continuing to gain more of a fanbase.

Plus, not only does Spoony shoot first and lie to Snow, but he also mercilessly kills him even after Snow says he thinks Spoony is the bad guy. All this considered, {{Jerkass}} though he may be, Snow can be view as something of a HeroAntagonist.

Ever since his attempt at creating a cyboplasm monster resulted in the creation of his "son" though, he's turned considerably LighterAndSofter.

* AcceptableTargets: EA games.

* CriticalResearchFailure:
** In the ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII'' review he cites Solid Snake, the protagonist from ''Franchise/MetalGear''. However, the footage actually shows another character, Big Boss. In the interest of fairness, Big Boss did used to go by the codename "Naked Snake" and Solid Snake ''is'' a clone of Big Boss.
*** Another one from his ''Final Fantasy XIII'' review is that he refers to Vanille as an underage girl in response to the [[ShesGotLegs placement]] of her La'Cie brand. Ignoring that she's [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld chronologically 600 years old]], she's physically 19-years-old.
*** Another 'nother ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII'' error comes from his complaint that Hope's mother Nora died after Snow dropped her despite other characters constantly surviving huge falls. Nora actually died of her earlier injuries; in fact, her grip loosening on death is why Snow couldn't hold her in the first place.
** In ''Film/YorTheHunterFromTheFuture'', the title character saves a father and his daughter from a triceratops. Spoony comments sarcastically that it was lucky Yor was there to save them from the giant herbivore. In reality, large herbivores are often very aggressive in attacking things that wandered into their territory as part of their defense against predators. For example, the hippopotamus [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippopotamus#Attacks_on_humans is one of the most dangerous animals]] in Africa.
** On several ''Counter Monkey'' episodes, when discussing how ''Dungeons and Dragons'' has changed over the years, whenever Spoony wants to see what something was like in "Original D&D", he takes out the Rules Cyclopedia. However the Rules Cyclopedia contains the rules for the Basic D&D (BECM) line. This is especially strange since we've seen the White Box (which contains all the books for OD&D) in Spoony's bookshelf on several occasions.
** In the ''Highlander: Last of the [=MacLeods=]'' review, Dr. Insano states that the UsefulNotes/AtariJaguar only supported an [=R/F=] connection and did not have RCA output; however, both composite and [=S-Video=] adapter cables were indeed available for the Jaguar.
** At the start of his Knightmare review, he claims that the show originally aired on the BBC. The show was produced by Anglia Television, one of the then many regional companies of ITV. Doesn't help that when he shows a clip of a team that beat the dungeon near the end of it, the trophy they hold clearly reads 'Anglia Television' at the top.

** Back when Noah did written reviews for magazines, he was one of the few critics to give ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'' a negative review and received hate mail for it.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment:
** Watching Spoony's describe how he anticipates ''[[Film/{{Twilight}} Breaking Dawn]]'' and all the ludicrous plot points, clearly gleeful at the idea of reaping the result. And then watch his actual [=VLog=] of the movie, set a year later, when he practically broke down and resorted to drown his sorrow because of the awfulness of what he saw.
** Seeing Creator/JewWario trying to cheer Spoony up during this can make this hard to watch because no one apparently could do the same before JW's suicide.
** The "[[BlackComedyRape Spooning with Spoony]]" videos are much darker when you consider the immense fallout stemming from a joke on his Twitter.

* CondemnedByHistory: He first caught the internet's attention with his reviews for games in popular franchises like ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'' and ''VideoGame/{{Ultima}}'' during the late 2000s. But after joining Website/ChannelAwesome in 2008, he became one of the site's most popular critics thanks to his [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} psychotic personality]], frequent crossover videos, and his wide range of review topics, including board games and tabletop [=RPGs=] like ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons''.
