** Not only did Mackenzie craft a plan that specifically involved [[spoiler:blowing up one of her best, and most unstable, friend's car]] but she then proceeded to openly brag about it to Jenna Darabond in front of Brittnay when asked how she knew the parent teacher conference would be called. She could have just said that she knew from the moment that Brittnay punched someone that that conference would happen and simply came up with idea on the spot. Or she could have [[spoiler:framed Jenna for something else entirely]] and gotten the exact same results, minus an enraged Brittnay.

** Than, come season 5, largely due to the DieForOurShip principle, [[spoiler:ever since he slept with Tanner, which causes Tristan to break up with him]], he became a target of hatred for Tanner/Tristan shippers. Furthermore, some people just dislike how he behaves in that season, particularly, he acts as rather insensitive towards Tanner in one episode, even though it's justified in the next episode, as he states that he feels like Tanner is an important friend and he has been drifting away. It largely wears off when Episode 11 ties up the loose ends, but still.

** Cameron Van Buren is a trangender girl, thanks to some dialogue from Episode 13.

** Come season 5, both Tristan and Tanner are [[spoiler:absolute devastated over a break-up neither seem to really want. Tanner is so depressed and crying so much he flops the Photoshoot competition because he can't stop crying over the break-up, and Tristan seems absolutely (and rightfully) wrecked upon learning that [[YourCheatingHeart his long-term boyfriend cheated on him in France]]]].
