** One that is an ''actual'' bug, though, is that the game applies Bonus Points to character data regardless of if they are friend or foe at the moment. So, if you level up and modify [[MobileSuitVictoryGundam Chronicle]], [[{{Megazone23}} B.D]], [[GodMars Marg and Rose]][[hottip:*:Rose only gets BP if you convince her properly; otherwise she becomes the fifth Cosmo Crusher pilot and won't gain any to begin with]], or [[{{Macross7}} Gabil]] at all, they'll have those modifications to their stats when you fight them on your next playthrough. * ThatOneLevel: Scenario 23, where you have to fight several Adrasteas charging a city area and make sure they don't blow up, as per the ''MobileSuitVictoryGundam'' storyline. What makes it worse is that the "Mercy" Spirit Command [[hottip:*:If the pilot's next attack would normally destroy the enemy it hits, so long as the user's skill stat (in ''Destiny'', it's pilot level) is higher than the enemy's, that enemy's HP is reduced to 10]] does not appear in ''Destiny'' AND unit weapon upgrades are linked (i.e. you can't upgrade them individually), so you're forced to ''carefully'' calculate the amount of damage you do to the Adreasteas so you don't get a game over. On the other hand, the Adrasteas will automatically defend any attack that would normally kill them, making it much easier to cripple them without destroying them. You also need to only bring the three with named pilots down to 20% health. [[GoldenSnitch As soon as you do, the entire group retreats regardless of any other factors to take into consideration]]. Depending on the line-up you're using, this scenario is either this or a BreatherLevel.

Basically, use Mylene's "Planet Dance Sigma" (raises an ally's accuracy/evasion stats) and Basara's "Try Again" (increase all of an ally's stats) songs. Thanks to how spammable these two songs are, you can turn a single ally unit into a OneManArmy that dodges everything and hits anything during counterattacks, assuming you spent time to buff your unit during each scenario.

** What makes this a YMMV is some players argue there is no bug present in the game: Units in ''Destiny'' simply have defensive stats on par with the Classic Timeline games, while weapon attack power is on the high end of the scale, comparable to the ''Original Generation'' titles. Since ''Destiny'' units lack the high armor rating to balance it out, overall damage is rendered higher. Accuracy and evasion rates for real-types are similarly high, as most real robot pilots have the "Focus" Spirit Command to give themselves a boost. At the same time, its rare to see super robot pilots in ''Destiny'' to get the "Guard" Spirit Command to raise their defense.

*** Long story short, the game doesn't like the concept of [[{{LightningBruiser}} Lightning Bruisers]]. In the end, it can be circumvented with a change in tactics - treat your units as interceptors and bombers rather than infantry and unstoppable tanks on the first playthrough. And, because you'll have pre-modified afflicted characters' Defense stats for every following run, the 'bug' isn't as noticeable from the second playthrough onwards.

** The Fire Bomber team, ScrappyMechanic asside, is REALLY broken especialy after you acquire Mylene's Valkyrie. Basicaly, you can use Mylene's Planet Dance Sigma(raises Evasion and Hit Rate), and Basara's Try Again(Increase all stats). The former cost little song energy to use, and the latter is usable at the start of a scenario with Basara's Spirit Seishin. Thanks to how spammable those two move are, you can basicaly turns one unit into a OneManArmy that dodges everything, and deals massive damage during counterattack, assuming you spent time to buff your unit during each scenario.
