* GeniusBonus: The joke where we hear Marcel Marceau say the only audible word in the film is followed by another gag that ''only'' works because Marceau speaks out loud. He tells Mel "Non!". Since it's pronounced "No!", it's obvious that he's refusing to be in Mel's movie -- but Mel doesn't understand because "I don't speak French!" Now, if Marceau's line appeared as a title card -- spelled "Non!" -- most viewers wouldn't have gotten the joke because they wouldn't know how it's pronounced.
