** Many fans of the ''Literature/PercyJacksonAndTheOlympians'' series of books and related material enjoy the Myths videos, and a new video from the series is often linked to new ideas in the fandom, and talk about the books and various details of them often appear in related myth videos. Red's discussion on the Mycenean versions of the Greek Gods notably correlates with the emergence of the growing fanon idea of Percy being the son of ''Mycenean'' Poseidon.

This episode had been in the works at least a couple of months before ''Film/DungeonsAndDragonsHonorAmongThieves'' was released, in which Sending Stones fulfill that exact function.

** In Red's video on Dionysus, she offhandedly mentions Zagreus, a very minor Greek deity and son of Persephone and Hades or Zeus who was syncretized with Dionysus, who never really was in public consciousness. A good time later, that very same ''Hades'' game--starring Zagreus as the main and playable character--suddenly made him a notable figure, which can certainly cause some amusement on how quickly he's mentioned in the video. What's more, in-game he's probably responsible for Orpheus's cult conflating himself and Dionysus, given all the prank origin stories he gives the poor man.
** The quote from Red's video about the Poetic Edda "Leave your Marvel-based assumptions by the door" became hilarious after Thor's design for ''VideoGame/GodOfWarRagnarok'' was criticised by being compared to Thor from the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse.

** Regrettably, the channel has fallen victim to this. Their video on "Rainbow Crow" states that it's a Lenape folk story, but it wasn't until a couple of months had passed that Red learned that [[https://nanticokelenapemuseum.org/learning-center/curriculum-guidelines/1347/non-historical-stories-and-prophesies-fiction-and-fairy-tales/ it isn't even a real folk story]], let alone one from the Lenape people. She acknowledged this publicly and apologized for spreading misinformation, along with changing the description, title, and pinned comment.
** While not as egregious, Red points out her own mistake by saying that she referred to Loki as a fire deity. Loki may have some connections to fire but he isn't a god of fire.
** Though it's mostly for comedic effect, Red mentions Creator/JRRTolkien's crippling arachnophobia for a joke. Tolkien was pretty insistent that he did not have arachnophobia, but his son did, and he wrote his stories mostly for his children.
** During the video on Orion she mentions how the idea that he was a lover of Artemis was false; comments pointed out she said the same thing in an earlier video. This resulted in her making a pinned comment explaining her failure in research at the time of the earlier video.
