His cyborg version has even more attacks taken from other characters. Combine that with one of his vocal grunts [[{{Mondegreen}} being heard by many]] as "[[TheSimpsons Yoink]]", he has become famous as a move thief, matched only by [[VideoGame/MortalKombatDeception Shujinko]].

* SelfFanservice: Mileena is probably the character subjected to this trope the most, likely because of the whole [[ButterFace "smoking hot body, hideous face"]] dichotomy she present. FanArt tends to either outright give her CuteLittleFangs or somehow display/downplay her teeth in a way that doesn't detract from her beauty. She also tends to be hit with AdaptationalAttractiveness in the live action adaptations. That being said, there are fans who disagree with these kind of depictions, seeing Mileena's [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily Tarkatan features]] as part of the allure of the character, not to mention that she's arguably [[ProgressivelyPrettier been approaching]] UglyCute territory since ''Deception''.

* EpilepticTrees: For a long time, fans thought that Shao Kahn and Reiko were one and the same. This was a result of Reiko's revised ending in ''[=MK4=]'' where he entered a portal, sat on a throne and Shao Kahn's helmet lowered itself onto his face. ''Deception'' [[{{Jossed}} soon disproved it]], by explaining that though Reiko wasn't Kahn, he did like to secretly wear the emperor's helmet and even had aspirations to become emperor. Then ''Armageddon'' poked fun at it with Reiko's shoulder charge move which also gave him an aura version of Kahn's helmet. His ending even has Kahn's helmet fuse itself onto Reiko's head.
