None of these are hindsight. Some might have even been deliberate references

* HilariousInHindsight:
** Milo's comment about "always wear body armor" is funnier in context if you know about Weird Al's unfortunate misunderstanding with Coolio, which, when resolved, prompted Al to say "I doubt I'll be invited to Coolio's birthday party, but at least I don't have to wear a bulletproof vest to the mall anymore."
** On the poster for the show, there's a satellite coming down from the atmosphere amongst all the chaos. Episode 1 of a [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb certain show]] featured the kids knocking a satellite out of orbit and spiraling towards Earth. "What goes around comes around" indeed...
** Past ancestors of the Murphy Family evidently vacationed at Mt. Vesuvius, particularly funny when you consider that this show has an {{Expy}} of ''Series/DoctorWho'', where both Creator/DavidTennant and Creator/PeterCapaldi did an episode centered around that volcano and its infamous eruption.
** Balathazar Cavendish tries to get Milo disinterested in wanting pistachios by offering him a gummy bear, considering he’s the real life Doctor Zone, expy of The Doctor, he pretty much offered Milo a jelly baby.

Grumpy Bear is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

** Bradley. He is a GrumpyBear, but it ensues from Milo always causing chaos near him and stealing the spotlight. He's also honorable about bets and wagering items, like Vitamin C tablets, that Milo would value. In addition, he can't understand why Melissa would rather hang out with Milo than with him, and his one-sided crush is limited to him inviting Melissa to sit next to him.

** Bradley Nicholson was an EnsembleDarkhorse from day one, but after a memorable role in the first handful of episodes as resident GrumpyBear to whom Milo was a SitcomArchNemesis, his role over the first two seasons was largely relegated to walk-on appearances and one-off gags. [[spoiler:Even after his arm was permanently turned into a plant!]]

Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

* UncannyValley:
** Odd for a show where all the characters have large eyes, Sara's seem a little ''too'' big.
** One of Melissa's eyes goes ''halfway'' off her face when she's in 3/4 view.
** Really, if you're coming to this show fresh off from ''Phineas and Ferb'', where nobody in the show had pupils outside of special circumstances, you're going to find characters with pupils 24/7 slightly unnerving. Even more so when they interact with the characters with the more common "[=PnF=]"-styled eyes.

* FranchiseOriginalSin: This show has some noticeable flaws that its [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb parent series]] had:had, but were only magnified here:

Added DiffLines:

** The show sharing a universe with its parent series to its own detriment. ''Phineas and Ferb'' had itself pulled a similar shared universe trick ''twice'' in the times it crossed over with [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerbMissionMarvel Marvel]] and [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerbStarWars Star Wars]]. While both crossovers have their fair share of detractors, they're both largely liked by the majority of fans and other viewers. And even the ones who ''don't'' like the crossovers can still agree with those who do that at the very least both of them are self contained one and done events, and that ''Phineas and Ferb'' itself could still stand on its own two feet without Marvel or Star Wars' assistance (and the fact that the Star Wars crossover in particular was [[WordOfGod explicitly labeled]] [[CanonDiscontinuity non canon]] also helped). ''MML'', in contrast, contained a heavy number of references to ''[=PnF=]'' as far back as season 1, which in turn culminated in [[spoiler:Dr. Doofenshmirtz]] appearing and playing a prominent role in the season finale, which in turn snowballed into both shows becoming heavily integrated in all the seasons that followed to the point that the connections with ''[=PnF=]'' are considered to have hijacked ''MML'' and undermined its ability to stand on its own.

** The decision to integrate the show more closely with ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb'' in its second season. Some feel going beyond references to have the previous show's characters regularly appear overshadows the elements that make ''Milo'' stand on its own, leaving it in its predecessor's shadow and making the show's cast occasionally feel like secondary characters in their own series. Others are just happy to see the ''[=PnF=]'' characters live on at all.

* {{Adorkable}}:
** Milo wears a [[WaistcoatOfStyle sweater vest]] and the opening song makes it clear he thinks it's cool. Milo is also head over heels for the antique fire truck Melissa's father was taking care of and geeks out even more than usual about it, gushing about every detail as if it they were absolutely groundbreaking even when they're far less than impressive in practice. He also loves action movies, and speaks in a raspy voice like a stereotypical action hero in "The Substitute" despite the ridiculousness of it as lampshaded by Melissa.
** Zack tries so hard at being cool while coming off as a total goofball.
** Amanda is obsessed with making sure things turn out well to the point of over scheduling, has an appreciation for the finer things, squees in delight at seeing her favorite cooking show host, and is occasionally nervous around Milo even without Murphy's Law.
** Sara is a sweet, intelligent young woman who's prone to over-analysis and struggles to find a topic of conversation unrelated to her favorite TV show.

*** Doofenshmirtz's as a character in ''MML'' Season 2 either have fans proud that he is finally getting his moment after constantly failing his projects and getting thwarted all the time, or disappointed because they feel forced and ignore his all character growth from throughout ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb''. This is especially apparent in "Doof's Day Out", where Doofenshmirtz found a family in the Murphys. Some were happy that he found a family after getting abused by his parents in childhood, while others argued that he had already found family with Vanessa, Perry, and Norm.
