* SockPuppet: A special form exists in this game. There are people who not only make accounts to keep at a permanently low level so they can beat newbies very easily, but also to sabotage other games because they won't lose anything if they get banned.
* ItsEasySoItSucks: Even Sona wasn't considered overpowered, she is still considered the easiest character to play ever by many (claimed by many to consist of spamming Q-W-E and pressing R occasionally).

* UnpleasableFanbase: Where to begin? Everyone complains that it's not [=DotA=] enough, that it's too much like [=DotA=]. Whenever a new champion is released, the response is always "They're Overpowered" or "They're just a copy of *[=Insert DotA hero here=]* or *insert League of Legends Champion here*". Every time a major patch namely Leona and Talon (The latter of which includes Dominion) is delayed, the post reporting it is downvoted into oblivion while the rest of the thread is everyone complaining about having to wait. It doesn't matter if the patch is fricking ''huge'' like the Talon patch, if a champion is delayed, everyone acts like they waited forever for that champion when it was only announced a couple weeks ago.[[hottip:*:And it becomes even ''more'' annoying when you consider that we didn't even wait that long for Leona and Talon; Wukong was announced alongside Rumble and wasn't released until late July. And Lee Sin was announced ''in the beta'' and didn't come out until April 2011.]]

** Champions are called "toons". Maybe a reference to cel-shading and "cartoony" style. Though more likely simply the same terminology borrowed from [[OlderThenTheyThink MMOs and older games]] where it's a debate between whether your character is a toon, an avatar, or a character.

* GameBreakingBug: Yorick had a GameBreakingBug that would sometimes make champions die every second.

* EntitledBastard: A NecessaryWeasel. This is a MOBA game - Unless you manage to get on a private server with only a fraction of the fanbase, you ''WILL'' run into players who demand you ward the map and gank them without thanking you or doing it when ''you'' need help.

* GannonBanned: It's '''Ezreal''. Not Ezr''ae'''l.
** She is Soraka. So-ra-ka. Not Soroka, Soraca, Sorca, whatever.

* UnpleasableFanbase: Despite being such big fans of this game, they sure do complain a ''LOT'' - and emphasis on the word "lot" is deserved. As you can guess, very little of this is actually the least bit ''constructive''.
** Even when they finally announced a ''completely different'' map with an ''all-new'' game mode that is relatively new to MOBA-games, it was met with complaining because they wanted more maps.

** This happened to Kayle, as well as ''any'' changes to a champion.

** Similar to Malzahar's Voidlings, Yorick's ghouls are not controllable and can be pretty weak and unreliable at times.

** On the forums, this happens a ''lot''. Before a champion's even released, everyone's bitching about how they're OP.

** Not to mention, a lot of people assume that because bots have ArtificialStupidity, that they can just think "Co-Op vs, AI? FREE EXP/IP!" and just spend half an hour dinking around and are somehow surprised to find bots at level 18 with tank-like stats, free gear, and loads of crowd control or finding bots focusing on a turret and it going down before they can do a thing.

* MissedMomentOfAwesome: A sorceress with a large staff which she shoots magic from, a headpiece, and a cloak...anyone else surprised there's been no [[SleepingBeauty Maleficent LeBlanc]] skin, yet?

* {{Moe}}: Lux is a young and cheerful magician with an endearing and innocent-sounding voice to match.

* FetishFuel: Miss Fortune is a female pirate (although technically a pirate hunter), for one. Her alternate skins resemble a cowgirl and a military officer of the 1800's. She had a holiday skin which was essentially SexySantaDress.
* FridgeLogic: How does the bird Anivia wear her speed increasing boots? And why is she slower than everyone, even the zombie?

* GameBreaker: Inevitable, given the competition-oriented gameplay. Who/ what exactly is one constantly changes, due to rapid updates, and what exactly is a "GameBreaker" is massively different depending on your level of play.
