Even the canonblind players already knew that [[spoiler:Tsukiyama [[ImAHumanitarian eats people]]]], a fact that was hidden from the ''characters'', due to content warnings given in the OOC meet-and-greet in the beginning of the round, and it was expected to be the big reveal in that case. This served to distract from the bigger swerve that [[spoiler:Meridiana was undead and that Tsukiyama had tricked her into killing Wash]], which ''nobody'' expected.

*** Played with in Nick vs CN with the "Genocidal Gem Bad End". Simply put, if Steven dies before Lapis.... Well, let's just say that Team Nick would win the game by a ''landslide''.

** Meta one: Futo ends up confusing [[LightNovel/FateZero Bluebeard]] for Blackbeard the pirate. A little over a week later, ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder'' unveils the new Servants, Blackbeard among them.

* HarsherInHindsight: You know that happy ending from the first round, where everything is hopeful and nothing is ruined? The feedback sent in afterwards may have been right that it was a little too happy for the canon DR spirit and its bittersweet endings and permadeath. But thanks to the ending of Round 2, it's harder to see it as such now. [[spoiler:Let's just say that happy endings are a zero-sum game here. It's even a game policy to hide your application until the round's done.

** Mr. Walnut/Walnut-san or "Kayneth, you absolute walnut!" [[labelnote:Explanation]]After Kayneth made Meridiana cry during the first trial, in Tsukiyama's action tags, he called him a "tactless walnut of a person," since he doesn't know how to be sensitive. It caught on like ''wildfire'', leading to characters oocly and even in-game narration calling him a Walnut, Walnut-san, Mr. Walnut, or various other forms of the word. Funnily enough, one who'd called him out on this most, Silver, showed similar insensitivity during the second trial, and got labeled a SHSL Seedot. Insensitive characters are, probably, bound to be labeled members of the Walnut family now.[[/labelnote]]
