* AnAesop: Both season one and season 2 deconstruct VideoGameCrueltyPotential and emphasize that even if the characters aren't real, you do more good when you are nice to fictional beings rather than violent. It says that knowing you are above the consequences is no excuse. Vanessa cheats, lies, and threatens her way [[spoiler:to win ''The Hollow'' in season one, which leads to Kai distrusting her in season two as well as Adam and Mira keeping their distance. He points out that even if she knew it was a game, everyone else didn't, so she came off as having LackOfEmpathy. Then the kids find out ''they'' are video game characters and digital copies of the original humans, and help to put out a fire that the real players start. By the end, they agree that even if these worlds aren't real, they're worth saving from those who don't show the same kindness.]]
