''Supernoobs'' is a Canadian animated series produced by Creator/DHXMedia and created by American TV producer Scott Fellows, the creator of such series as ''Series/NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide'', ''WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest'', and ''Series/BigTimeRush''.

* DressedInLayers: Zigzagged and played with by Memnock and Zenblock, as they have the habit of putting on clothes over their armor.
** Played straight whenever Memnock and Zenblock are in their pajamas as evidenced by them still wearing their helmets.
** Parodied in "Noobsitters", when Memnock and Zenblock in their human disguises tear off their casual clothing, which reveals that they wear their workout clothing under their casual wear and they did this when they became convinced that the Noobs were in danger.

* ExiledToTheCouch: During a fight between Roach’s parents “The Noob Trap” over who would look best wearing red, Mrs. Roachmont makes her husband sleep in a tent in their backyard.

* TwentyFourHourArmor: Mem and Zen are yet to be seen without their armor. Even in human form, their "true forms" are technically still wearing it, and whenever they have to change costume it's still visibly underneath- including pajamas.

* LargeHam:
** Pretty much everyone on the show is one
** Count Venamus is a decidedly dramatic villainous alien. So much so that he tends to cough profusely when he indulges in {{evil laugh}}ter.

* NotSoDifferent[=/=]NotSoAboveItAll: Hilariously mistaking Earth kids in shoddy, makeshift paintball gear for seasoned Earth warriors was the first clue right off the bat, but doesn't take long for Menock and Zenblock to be shown just as fallible as the kids they themselves dubbed as "Noobs", despite being truly capable and competent when the need arises (or when the writers need them to better contrast the Noobs). Not only do they fall in love with many aspects of [[AlienArtsAreAppreciated Earth and its culture]] ([[{{Tsundere}} regardless of Zenblock's protests]]), but they often find themselves distracted and fascinated by many a trivial and frivolous Earthly pursuit (visiting an amusement park or finding out what a gift shop is). They are even symbiotic with the noobs in terms of educating as Mem and Zen teach the noobs how to be better virus warriors while the Noobs teach Mem and Zen about Earth culture and how to fit into it and have fun with it

* PintSizedPowerhouse: Virus infected fleas. Special mention goes to Super-Flea
* ThePlague: A downplayed version of this trope is heavily implied in "License To Noob" in the form of swink eye, which is a space oriented eye infection that appears to deliver more severe symptoms than regular pink eye. The queen of the hive planet and her soldiers, the swarm troopers were all infected with this disease and the queen claimed that every single citizen of her planet had it as well. Mem and Zen had this infect

* WaterIsAir: It's implied that Mem and Zen's species can breathe underwater as shown in " Super Natural Noobs" as they capsized their boat while fishing and even continued to fish and defy water gravity by still sitting in the boat despite the boat being upside down and they never showed signs of drowning.
* WhatDoesThisButtonDo: Roach uses this to cause one of Venamus' machines to be destroyed

* WouldntHitAGirl: In "Noob Kids on the Block", Jock and his friends shove Tyler, Kevin and Roach into lockers, but leave Shope alone.

* LikeAnOldMarriedCouple: Mem and Zen are not married or in a romance as they are both straight. But they will occasionally get into these kinds of bicker spats, first seen when they try to blame each other for mistaking 4 kids for trained Earth warriors. It's obvious that they have the tendency to argue like this due to being VitriolicBestBuds and throw in a bit of violence in their bickering too.

* In “ A Noob’s Best Friend” Shope wants a dog and tries to convince her parents that she is ready for dog ownership yet “Curb Your Noob” has Shope adopt almost all of the dogs in an animal shelter.

* AdultsAreUseless: The police and military are nowhere to be found during any virus attack. Even more obvious with the teachers, who range from eccentric and gullible to outright evil. Aliens are also of little help, given that Memnock and Zenblock seem incompetent and immature most of the time.

* NegativeContinuity: This show is infamous for having an erratic scale of continuity. While some episodes do use the ContinuityNod and had an important story arc in season 2, other episodes show Cornbury being significantly ravaged or Mem and Zen’s house or the galactic is being destroyed only to show up fine in the next episode. A lot of the stuff Mem and Zen acquire or buy never show up again in future episodes such as a yacht. Season 2 in particular treated “A Noob Divided Cannot Noob” like it never actually happened.

* ArousedByTheirVoice: Memnock and Zenblock attempted to impress a couple of girls in a coffee shop to invoke this trope in the ending scene of "How To Use Your Noob" as while in their Bob and Rob forms, they a by manipulated their battle balls into helmets that modulate their voices in a Darth Vader like style. The girls do look attracted to them but Mem and Zen get distracted by the shop cashier.

* FeudEpisode: "A Noob Divided Cannot Noob" has Memnock and Zenblock move out of their Earth house after they have a nasty falling out, due to the being very uncomfortable with living together, due in turn to both the small, uncomfortable spaces of the house, and their nighttime habits interfering with each other, heavily implying that they have never lived together on their own before and that they have been uncomfortable living together since they first bought the house--as evidenced by their initial reaction to buying it in the second episode. The Noobs try to get Mem and Zen to reconcile by putting together and cooking up several insane schemes to do so (with one including swan paddle boats), but these schemes only make things worse until the Noobs realize that the uncomfortable and small spaces of the house was what destroyed Mem and Zen's friendship in the first place; so the Noobs decide to expand it. Mem and Zen then decide to become friends and roommates again after Zen gets his own new bedroom and Mem gets his own new kitchen.

* ForHalloweenIAmGoingAsMyself: Mem and Zen's alien appearances sometimes get mistaken for elaborate costumes but some humans freak out over Mem and Zen's alien forms, which usually puts Mem and in grave danger. This is the main reason on why they have to go into their Bob and Rob disguises when they go out in public. They literally evoke this trope in "Happy Noob-O-Ween" when they decide to go trick or treating in their true alien forms and end up getting a lot of candy and other things when they get carries away with the whole thing by using their battle ball abilities to scare the living daylights out of people as a trick and to get them to give them the candy. They evoke it again in " Noobs Of The Round Table" when they and the leaders of the benevolent alliance go to a medieval themed restaurant where their alien appearances are once again mistaken for costumes.

** What's even more ridiculous about Memnock and Zenblock's living situation and funds is that as of episode 26, they technically live in two houses as the Noobs included underground rooms that were more high tech and spacious when it is shown that the regular house, which was quite spacious in itself, ironically turned out to be too small and uncomfortable for Memnock and Zenblock to live in due to their large sizes and being aliens.

* HartmanHips:
** All of the Noobs' moms have them.
** Most of the women in Cornbury also have them.
** Hedies also has them.

* ItsAllAboutMe: This is one of the main flaws the Noobs have to struggle with. All six of the main characters have shown varying degrees of selfishness in at least one point in the series.
** Out of the six main characters, Kevin is the one who take the cake in this trope. His selfishness is shown through his tendency to get his teammates in trouble, through his management of the website concerning the Noobs, and his rudeness and disrespect towards Memnock and Zenblock.
** Exaggerated with The Incredibly Amazing Man as blatantly shown through his name. He thinks of himself as incredibly amazing and is a huge narcissist who only care about fame and making money. He is a JerkWithAHeartOfJerk who not only helps people and fight the virus for the wrong reasons but is very destructive, tearing up several building and public places and building his personal HQ in city streets and he is blinded about his destructive nature by his overinflated ego

* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Exaggerated on the feminine boy side as the show has one masculine girl and two feminine boys in the main cast, which is male heavy. Shope is the masculine girl as she loves science,football, and shooter video games and Tyler is sort of a feminine boy as he owns many stuffed animals, plays a cooking sim video game, and tries to find nonviolent solutions if possible. The CampStraight Memnock better fits the feminine boy in this case due to his love of cooking, baking, and stuffed animals as well as his reading of a fashion magazine and tiara jokes even though he is interested in many of the things Shope and Tyler do.

* NegativeContinuity: Averted as many episodes make references to past episodes that occurred before and the show does have an established continuity to some extent. However its played straight in only a few episodes with most of these episodes not having any virus fights such as in "License To Noob" the Noobs wreck Mem and Zen's ship beyond repair as well as accidentally short circuit [[=XR4Ti=]] but they are both fine and fully intact in the next episode. The end of another episode had the Noobs lose their battle balls at the end and had them look for them for several days to no avail but they inexplicably have them in the next episode while not shriveling up although it was stated that they will shrivel if they gets separated from their battle balls for an undefined amount of time.

* LikeAnOldMarriedCouple: Mem and Zen are not married or in a romance as they are both straight. But they will occasionally get into these kinds of bicker spats, first seen when they try to blame each other for mistaking 4 kids for trained Earth warriors. It's obvious that they have the tendency to argue like this due to being VitriolicBestBuds and throw in a bit of violence in their bickering too. This trope reached its high tip in "A Noob Divided Cannot Noob" when they both moved out and dissolved their friendship due to their night habits and uncomfortable temporary Earth house. They later reconcile and apologize to each other after a house renovation; and afterwards, the tripe becomes almost nonexistent.

** Memnock and Zenblock are considered shipped with Oakie and Doke although Oakie and Doke are video game characters. This is evidenced through Mem and Zen's facial expressions when playing the candy mama game as well as Zen saying both of their names in a happy tone. Its not known who is shipped with who in this case.

* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Memnock and Zenblock are shown to have a memory wiper gadget that not only wipes memories away from a person, but also restores them. They use this in "I Know You Noob" in an attempt to get themselves and the Noobs out of being blackmailed by the three Emmas. However, the memory wiper always malfunctions on Mem and Zen, which not only wipes away all their memories but also makes them afraid of humans.

* ProWrestlingEpisode: An interesting take on this trope, as Mem and Zen (ho realized it was a challenger take all event), demanded the Noobs give them their battle balls to prevent them from fighting the wrestler, with Kevin, Tyler and Roach acquiescing (Shope was back in the ship). with both Mentor thinking they avoided the usual shenanigans... until wrestling notice they look exactly like famous wrestlers. Didn't help that later, the virus showed up.

* HeroesLoveDogs: Mostly played straight as the noobs and their mentors in "Curb Your Noob" keep adopting other puppies instead of Kevin, whose battle ball has malfunctioned and made him turn into a pitbull (ItMakeSenseInContext) but the dogs are never seen or mentioned again in later episodes. Its further exaggerated in Mem and Zen's case in "Noobs Of The Round Table" when they delight over getting gift certificates to Stuff-A-Puppy and spend a good chunk of the episode obsessing over the customization of their plush puppies. It's notably averted however with Sour Persimmons who is quite nasty. So much so that when he got infected with a virus that caused lethargy, the group decided to upgrade the extractor so that it causes the virus not to spread but stay in one host (AKA Persimmons).

* CripplingOverspecialization: Played with, some strands of the virus are more deadlier than overs.

* WaterIsAir: Its implied that Mem and Zen's species can breathe underwater as shown in " Super Natural Noobs" as they capsized their boat while fishing and even continued to fish and defy water gravity by still sitting in the boat despite the boat being upside down and they never showed signs of drowning.

* KidHero: The quartet of Noobs; they're 12 years old, in seventh grade, and have the responsibility (with supervision and mentorship) of protecting Earth in the midst of an intergalactic war.

* ProWrestlingEpisode: An interesting take on this trope, as Mem and Zen (Who realie it was a challenger take all event). demanded the noobs give them there battleball to avoid them fighting the wrestler, with Kevin, Tyler and roach acquiescing (Shope was back in the ship). with both Mentor thinking they avoided the usual shenanigans... until wrestling notice they look exactly like famous wrestlers. Didn't help that later, the virus showed up.

* BrainsAndBrawn: Tyler and Shope are brains and Kevin and Roach are brawn.

** All of the Noob's moms have them
** Most of the women in Cornbury also have them

* RedOniBlueOni: Tyler and Shope are blue and Kevin and Roach are red.

* CometOfDoom: The Blasteroid, a artificial comet that is made to destroy a planet as a last resort in case the virus over-runs the planet.

* ButtMonkey: ''Everyone'', since this is a very "cartoonish" kind of cartoon but Kevin in particular tends to take quite a beating.
