** From the outset, BDG wanted to see how the concept of the monomyth applied to the ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'' franchise in order to predict how [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII the third game]] would play out. ** The idea of trying to explain and categorize every single story into the pattern of TheHerosJourney is pulled apart when Brian tries to use the concept to try and simplify the ''very'' complicated story of ''VideoGame/KingdomHearts'', only to make the the Hero's Journey more complicated on it's own. Long story short: not every story fits into the Hero's Journey.
