The story tells how she tried to bake Demophon to turn him into a god, but after she is found out by his mother, the song shifts to Zeus looking for Demeter. The song ends with Triplotemus getting Demeter's chariot as a gift, so he can teach the mysteries of agriculture to Greece, but Demophon's fate is never revealed.
