The Dark Hobbit Saga is a series of three WebAnimation/{{YouTube Poop}}s created by WebAnimation/{{Waxonator}}. It follows the events of ''WesternAnimation/TheHobbit'', creating a new story along the way where Bilbo, Thorin and friends go on a quest to find [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail the Holy Grail]].

* SoundtrackDissonance: SoundtrackDissonance/YakketySax plays as Bilbo and company are being chased by Goblins.

* AffablyEvil: Smaug asks Bilbo his [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail name, quest and favorite color,]] then he lets him go.
* AnachronismStew: Apparently, Middle Earth had iPads and Mentos. It also has [[spoiler:[[Franchise/{{Batman}} the Batcave]]]].

** In part 1, Tracy Morgan's character from ''Film/CopOut'' shows up to stop a WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic joke. In part 2, Bilbo mistakes Scootaloo for a chicken. Tracy Morgan is then revealed to be dead.

* FeatheredFiend: The final army to show up is composed of ducks, featuring a berserk ComicBook/DonaldDuck with an axe and ComicBook/ScroogeMcDuck as Sauron.
