A bit hard to tell since Smart Ass and Greasy both wore very similar attire with differing colors, but Greasy's location directly under Psycho makes more sense, compared to Smart Ass being kicked into the giant vat behind the both of them in the machine. The soul even has the same-esque expression in both shots.

It melts the paint and cellulose that Toons are made of. If a Toon had been subject to [[KillItWithFire real fire]], the same thing would have happened, but with a lot of blistering and burning. Toons aren't indestructible; the people in the movie's universe are just that uncreative (the Toons' creators had to steal ideas from another dimension, for [[ChuckJones Chuck]]'s sake!).
* This is canon. One of the cops at the crime scene where Acme's murder took place explains to Eddie that Dip is made of acetone, turpentine, and benzene.

* CGI-lings (aka People of Data): The result of the unthinkable -- sex between humans and Toons.

It starts with a toon couple playing pattycake, or doing whatever their sex equivalent is. As the toons play, a sliver of sound makes its way into the sky, onto some sort of floating cloud like feature, where some baby delivering storks live (like in the {{Dumbo}} movie). While humans and most creatures are incapable of hearing the sounds, the storks can, and occasionally, one of them will be inspired by the sound, and start to draw a new cartoon. The qualities of the sound floating up depend on the toon couple in question, and also influence how the stork draws. Once the drawing is complete, with a fully formed body and partially formed personality, the stork delivers the new toon baby to the "mother" toon in the original couple. And thus, a new toon enters the world.

In the beginning, there were human humans and hand-drawn-looking Toons, and [[RudyardKipling never the twain did meet]]. But then one day, someone got curious, and [[HalfHumanHybrid the result]] was something oddly in-between - a CGI Toon. As this has become more common (and social attitudes have become more egalitarian), it's got to the stage where CGI toons can get cast as stuntmen and props alongside humman actors without people batting an eyelid - and now they're even [[SerkisFolk taking starring roles]]. In fact, Hollywood may be approaching an extended [[Blaxploitation CGI-spolitation]] period. In 30 years' time, ToyStory may well be viewed as this generation's {{Shaft}}.

* Animane: Mostly hailing from Japan, the Animane rarely breed with the toons. When they do, the [[AvatarTheLastAirbender results]] are [[BeastWarsII unpredictable.]]
