* With diversity being a main talking point in media more than ever, the show might get the idea to take after Star Wars with a female lead. Granted, they may pull a Dillon with a male Rangers still getting the lion's share of focus. That said, Hasbro hasn't exactly been predictable with adapting Super Sentai. They may reference how she become more masculine in her build as a Ranger, not unlike Justin growing a few feet in Turbo.

* The FiveTokenBand will be a group of foreign-exchange students, consisting of Asian Red and Pink (respectively Vietnamese and Korean, the latter hailing from Canada), Hispanic Blue (of Puerto Rican descent), Caucasian Black (from Ireland), and Tahitian Green (but originally from Hawaii).
** Gold would be Afro-Caribbean, whether he hails from Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, etc.

* Besides the Red Ranger, who's obviously TheLeader, the Pink Ranger will be TheLancer (the second instance of a female Ranger filling that role, after ''[[Series/PowerRangersWildForce Wild Force]]''), the Blue Ranger will be TheSmartGuy (he can come up with new Megazord formations, and even discover a long lost powerful artifact to create a Battlizer for Red), the Green Ranger will be TheBigGuy (specifically a wannabe motocross racer), and the Black Ranger will be TheHeart (possibly a KidAppealCharacter).
