* EnemyMine: You know the situation is dire when you would team up with a crime boss and conquering warlords against a darker enemy. Death Adder even states "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" to Ax Battler concerning his own problems against Dremagen since she took his land.

** The Big Ben enemies may seem threatening at first with their passive skill which grants them immunity to all attacks when buffed, but their own attacks aren't very powerful. The least dangerous is the green variant which at its worst, can guarantee a hit against a hero with the Focus status variant which only works once like with Hotsuma. Even then, it’s ScratchDamage.

* LimitBreak: Each playable character has a MAX Skill. While some provide buffs or heal teammates, others deal heavy damage and usually leave debuffs to enemies.

* NoBodyLeftBehind: The generic {{Mooks}} and character clones fade away when defeated due to being copies made by Dremagen. The Badnik enemies also explode when beaten. The exceptions are Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic, who fly away when they run out of health. An update added the effect of enemy teams fought in the Arena to vanish as well minus the purple particles.

* SpotlightStealingCrossover: Sega's flagpole franchise ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' is somewhat understandably way more represented that all the others, having 8 playable characters at the game's launch ([[{{Mascot}} Sonic]] himself being a special reward for the game's AchievementSystem and PurposelyOverpowered) as well as two Boss [=NPCs=] in the form of Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic, the former being Dremagen's lieutenant and responsible for all the clones attacking the heroes as well as naturally providing the Badnik enemies. Not to mention that the game added another 4 Sonic's characters in later update.
