* When Chirico shoots down one of the planes from the [[Anime/GodMars Gishin Empire]], he and [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing Trowa Barton]] comment on their choice of weapons. The Scopedog and [[MobileSuitGundamWing Heavyarms]] possess nearly the same type of weaponry.

Not only does she visit Saji in his cell on the ''[[MobileSuitGundam00 Ptolemios]], she gradually gets it into his thick skull about the situation of the ADW. Notably, when he repeatedly calls her out as a terrorist, Kallen doesn't accepts the accusation. Later, she's also responsible for motivating [[MobileSuitGundam00 Sumeragi Li Noriega]] to return, rather than Setsuna, as he promptly leaves her with Kallen, who he thinks can talk to her better because "they're both women". While Kallen believes this is the dumbest thing she's ever heard, she manages to convince her when she tells Sumeragi the story of her mother.

* It appears the Zero System is also part of the plans created by [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Aeolia Schenberg]]. This implies the system was designed over 200 years ago along with [[MobileSuitGundam00 VEDA]]. In a way, this appears to be a {{Homage}} to the Creator/IsaacAsimov ''{{Foundation}}'' trilogy, where the Zero System functions as the "Second Foundation" or backup for VEDA should the plan ever get derailed. This is displayed in Scenario 58 of the "Trust Zero" Route: when Tieria regains control of VEDA, Ribbons is DangerouslyGenreSavvy enough to quickly re-board his [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Reborns Gundam]] and destroys the [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Seravee Gundam]] before Tieria can finish using the machine's "Trial System" to shut down all enemy [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Gagas]]. Heero uses the Zero System to interface with VEDA and disable the Gagas.
* The [[MobileSuitGundamWing five Gundam professors put an end to the Libra and Quinze]] [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cx0sIBXsN94 by activating]] the SelfDestructMechanism of the satellite. Before they die, they reveal they used to work with Celestial Being but left due to disagreements. The Zero System was initially conceived to work in tandem with the "[[MobileSuitGundam00 Twin Drive System]]".

* The death of [[MobileSuitGundam00 Nena Trinity]] in ''Saisei-hen'' can occur in different scenarios depending on whether the player chooses to trust Zero or not. If the former is chosen, she dies in Scenario 51; if not, Scenario 52. What makes her death different from ''Gundam 00'' is Setsuna wonders what she's doing at the abandoned satellite where he's supposed to rendezvous with [[MobileSuitGundam00 Wang Liu Mei]] (in the anime, the appearance of the [[MobileSuitGundam00 Throne Drei]] was a surprise). [[spoiler:ZEXIS witnesses Nena assassinate Liu Mei as she proclaims the real relationship between Liu Mei and [[MobileSuitGundam00 Hong Long]] (in the anime, no one finds out about this)]]. Even her dying words are slightly different, [[spoiler:as [[MobileSuitGundam00 Louise Halevy]] tells Nena she knows she doesn't want to die this way AFTER dealing the lethal blow, while Nena is coughing up blood]].

*** Universal Century: ''Zeta Gundam'', ''MobileSuitGundamUnicorn'' and ''MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack''

** Rather than use the Zeta Gundam, Kamille begins ''Jigoku-hen'' as a test pilot for the [[MobileSuitGundamUnicorn RGZ-95 ReZEL]] by [[MobileSuitGundamUnicorn Anaheim Electronics]], and is partnered with [[MobileSuitGundamUnicorn Riddhe Marcenas]]. Since the [[MobileSuitZetaGundam Anti-Earth Union Group]] is no longer needed, its members have been absorbed into [[MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack Londo Bell]].
* Since [[MobileSuitZetaGundam Katz Kobayashi]] survived the events of ''Z'', he returns in ''Jigoku-hen'' as part of Londo Bell and becomes a BigBrotherMentor to [[MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack Hathaway Noah]]. In contrast to his ''Alpha'' counterpart being TheScrappy, Katz has matured and is less obnoxious about others, particularly about Char being ObviouslyEvil with regards to [[MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack Neo Zeon]].
* Neo Zeon in ''Jigoku-hen'' is primarily based on Char's faction from ''Char's Counterattack''. This causes problems with [[MobileSuitGundamUnicorn Marida Cruz]], as she comes from the original Neo Zeon faction created by [[MobileSuitGundamZZ Haman Karn]] in ''MobileSuitGundamZZ'', which doesn't appear in the ''Z'' series. Instead, Marida is more or less a "[[SuperPrototype prototype]]" of [[MobileSuitGundamZZ Elpeo Ple]]; her history as a sex slave is glossed over.
* InUniverse, conspiracy theorists state the [[MobileSuitZetaGundam Mineva Lao Zabi]] representing Neo Zeon is a fake because she's too young, given the time frame between ''Z'' and ''Jigoku-hen''. Naturally, any person who has read ''Gundam Unicorn'' or watched its AnimatedAdaptation knows [[spoiler:[[MobileSuitGundamUnicorn Audrey Burne]]]] is the ''real'' Mineva.

* TheOtherDarrin: A notable case with a few of the debut series - Olson and [[Anime/SpaceWarriorBaldios Flick]] (two roles originally done by the late Creator/HirotakaSuzuoki) are voiced in ''Z'' by Creator/KenyuHoriuchi and Creator/KeijiFujiwara, respectively; Fujiwara also voices [[Anime/GodSigma Gagan]] due to death of Mikio Terashima. Likewise, Creator/TakumiYamazaki and Creator/TomokazuSeki takes over the roles of Marin and Toshiya for the late Creator/KanetoShiozawa and Creator/KeiTomiyama. Averted in the case of [[MobileSuitGundam Bright Noah]] and [[Anime/{{Daitarn 3}} Banjou Haran]] (two other Suzuoki roles) as ''Z'' reuses old audio clips from previous [=SRWs=].

** Files uncovered after ''Z'' was hacked include Amuro's voice files for supporting [[Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam Usso Evin]] and [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ Judau Ashta]] in combat. Seiei]], with the most prominent scene being the one after Heero self-detonates the [[MobileSuitGundamWing Wing Gundam]]. As he's recovering, most of the ''MobileSuitGundam Wing'', ''MobileSuitGundam00'' and ''Code Geass'' cast are there to see how he's doing, with Setsuna proclaiming "You are also Gundam".
* The ACW counterpart of Renton addresses [[OvermanKingGainer Gainer Sanga]] as "Gainer-san" and [[OvermanKingGainer Sara Kodama]] laughs at him for it. This refers back to the Renton from the UCW calling him "Gainer nii-san", which is akin to "Big Brother Gainer".

* [[Anime/MacrossFrontier Mikhail Blanc]] doesn't think [[spoiler:[[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Lyle Dylandy]]]] is fit to replace Lockon since he isn't a dedicated sniper, moreso since Mikhail takes it upon himself to pick up the slack after [[spoiler:Neil]] dies. Following the scenario where Mikhail, [[OvermanKingGainer Gain Bijou]] and [[spoiler:Lyle]] need to destroy a Dimensional Beast from long-range, [[spoiler:Lyle]] comes through perfectly and decides he's fit to take over after [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NifZP6DjGXM all]].

** Char uses the line "Tatami kakeru!" when he uses the Nu Gundam, like Amuro. However outside the Nu Gundam I've never heard him say that.

* Crowe and Marylin Catto's relationship is pretty much a HilariousInHindsight if you take into account their voice actors portrayed [[LoveHina Keitaro Urashima and Mutsumi Otohime]], respectively.

* In a save-quit intermission conversation between [[MacrossFrontier Ozma Lee]], [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Johann Trinity]] and [[TengenToppaGurrenLagann Kamina]], they comment on how they're always stuck with a little brother/sister. All three characters are voiced by the [[Creator/KatsuyukiKonishi same voice person]].
* When the [[Manga/GetterRobo Getter Team]] meets the ''Macross Frontier'' cast, [[MacrossFrontier Alto Saotome]] states his surname, and [[Manga/GetterRobo Ryouma Nagare]] wonders if he's related to [[Manga/GetterRobo Professor Saotome]].

Likewise, the [[MacrossFrontier Vajra]] are demoralized by Basara's songs; this explains why [[MacrossFrontier Grace O'Connor]] loses control over [[MacrossFrontier Ranka Lee]] in the ''Macross Frontier'' finale. In regards to Gaioh, whatever Basara's songs are doing is heavily affecting his abilities to control dimensional energies.

* The telepathic conversation Alto, Ranka and [[MacrossFrontier Sheryl Nome]] have during the ''Macross Frontier'' finale is facilitated by Setsuna [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 using the TRANS-AM Burst in the 00 Raiser]].

* Kira has unique battle dialogue (while attacking and evading, possibly taking damage, too) when fighting [[CodeGeass Gino Weinberg]] and [[MacrossFrontier Brera Stern]], where he refers to them by name; Gino returns the favor (instead, he refers to Kira by his full name). All three characters are voiced by Creator/SoichiroHoshi.

Terada claimed the developers had already decided what will be available for the unit while the show was still airing.
