* CastingGag: Naruto is voiced by Creator/JunkoTakeuchi, and the BigBad of the series, [[spoiler: Obito]], was voiced by Creator/MegumiHan as a child. Both voice actresses provided the voice for [[Manga/HunterXHunter Gon Freeces]] (in the 1999 and 2011 anime adaptations respectively).

* TheDanza: In the Japanese dub, Shiho’s voice actress is Shiho Hisajima.

* DevelopmentHell: Creator/{{Lionsgate}} has had the rights to a live-action adaptation since 2016 and even a director in Michael Gracey, but no production has begun. ** When the series was reaching its end, quite a few fans claimed that Kishimoto had confirmed that in the ending Naruto would have a son named Shinachiku, based on an interview made during the promotion of the aforementioned ''Road To Ninja'' movie; in reality during the interview Kishimoto when asked if Naruto would have a child how would he call him, he ''jokingly'' answered that ''probably'' Shinachiku. The real names for Naruto's children turned out to be [[spoiler:Boruto and Himawari]].

* Mizuki was created to be as offensive to Naruto as possible. How so, you ask? [[FelonyMisdemeanor His least favorite food is ramen]].
* Naruto and Gaara have a lot in common: their father is the Yondaime and their mothers died after they were born, their hobbies deal with taking care of plants (Naruto: gardening, Gaara: taking care of cactus). By Shippuden they're the same size (height and weight). Also they both want to fight Sasuke. Also if you add the Month and Day of their birthdays you get 20. They were also made Jinchuuriki when they were babies.

* Deidara is the only known person who was alive and fought a [[spoiler:living]] Kage straight up and won, Gaara in his own village: What happened between the Third Kazekage and Sasori is unknown, The Fourth Kazekage was slain by Orochimaru in an ambush, the battle between The Third Hokage and Orochimaru was a draw at best (if because Orochimaru wasn't trying as hard as he could have), Minato defeated Tobi, but gave his life to seal Kurama inside both himself and Naruto and [[spoiler:Danzo]] wasn't officially sworn in.

* IKnewIt:
** It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Naruto is the son of the Fourth Hokage, which is something that's a common fact for the entire audience. How people in-universe haven't realized this when it's so ''obvious'' is still left unanswered.
** [[spoiler: Tobi being Obito]] had been a fan theory circulating for years, until it was proven right in Chapter 599.
*** Zetsu being involved in [[spoiler: Obito's survival]] had also been guessed several years before [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3323125/1/Tobi-of-the-forgotten-memories due to this]].
*** Almost somewhat of a subversion though. [[spoiler: Tobi being Obito was considered by many fans to be so obvious they disregarded the idea outright as way too obvious for the author to do.]]

** Kishimoto had intended to follow up the Land of Waves Arc with more storylines of Team 7 traveling together on missions, gradually introducing them to the other shinobi nations and Konaha teams. However, his editor felt this would have dragged the story for far too long and thus the Chunin Exams arc was moved up and retooled in order to fulfill the same purpose.

** ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'': At the end of third segment of "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS26E4TreehouseOfHorrorXXV Treehouse of Horror XXV]]", multiple alternate Simpsons families dressed as other animated characters appear, one being a family dressed as anime characters with Bart as Naruto.

** ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' episode "Jet" was inspired by ''Naruto'' and ''Anime/SamuraiChamploo'', particularly the fights in the trees.
** ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'': At the end of a segment of "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS26E4TreehouseOfHorrorXXV Treehouse of Horror XXV]]", there is a montage of multiple alternate Simpsons families dressed as other animated characters, one being a family dressed as anime characters with Bart as Naruto.
** In ''WebComic/EnsignSueMustDie'' one of the {{Mary Sue}}s unleashed into the multiverse is a Ninja Sue destined for the Narutoverse, and later a brainwashed Naruto is seen among the Sue Army.
** ''Manga/AssassinationClassroom'': Chapter 12: When wearing a headband for each student showing their weak subjects, Koro-sensei wears a Naruto headband for Terasaka. The headband makes a comeback before the final exams, but this time many of his "shadow clones" wear it. He even says "Dattebayo"/"Believe it!" In the anime.
** ''WesternAnimation/OKKOLetsBeHeroes'': In middle school, Enid is shown to have read yaoi ninja manga with characters that look similar to Sasuke and Naruto.

** Most infamously in regards to everything related to romance in the series (see: [[{{Analysis/Naruto}} the Shipping Rollercoaster]]). By [[WordOfGod his own admission]], Kishimoto indulged himself on playing with the ShipTease through the whole series by planting [[RedHerring several false leads]] in order to mess with the shipping fans until the true OfficialCouple was revealed in the epilogue.

* StarMakingRole: Most of the Los Angeles-based voice actors can, due to the massive popularity of ''Naruto'' in the US, claim their role as their best-known. The main exception is Creator/KyleHebert who is still best known as [[Manga/DragonBall Gohan]]. Creator/YuriLowenthal in particular got really popular after voicing Sasuke.
