** Per the official developer blog, both Daisuke and Akira Katano, the producer of -STRIVE-, reaffirmed that Bridget is transfeminine, accepting herself as female, as well as confirming that all of the Arcade Mode outcomes are canon and do not contradict each other.

This one is quite debated.

** -STRIVE- proved to be a huge one for the series in general, no doubt in part due to Arc System Works' newfound spotlight after the success of [=FighterZ=], and aided further by a change in direction to make the game more welcoming to new players while still keeping with the spirit of Guilty Gear. When it was released on Steam, it quickly jumped to the 3rd highest peak player count of any fighting game on the platform, only beaten out by VideoGame/MortalKombat11 and the aforementioned [=FighterZ=].

** Creator/TaraPlatt plays both Milla and I-No in Xrd.
** Originally, both Faust and Potemkin since X were voiced by Creator/TakashiKondo in Japanese, showing off his range between the both of them.
** Ky and his robotic version Robo-Ky in older versions of GGXX had Creator/TakeshiKusao voice both of them, before the new story mode in Accent Core Plus.

** Guilty Gear XRD -SIGN- would also see the first official dub for a Guilty Gear fighting game, but Sol, Ky, and Sin would all be recast. Unfortunately, in order to get the second iteration of the game, -REVELATOR- localized in time to release before the Evolution Championship Series 2016, the English dub for -REVELATOR- was scrapped. Similarly, when the third and final iteration, REV 2 was being developed, Arc System Works opted to just bypast dubbing since the previous version never got dubbed.

Guilty Gear 2: Overture isn't a spinoff, it's part of the main series. Sure it isn't a fighting game, but it's super important to the plot unlike the actual spinoff games like Judgment and Dust Strikers.

** Initially, the franchise was never given an English dub, it wasn't until the spinoff game Overture, that the franchise actually received its first official dub.

Not trivia.

* CastingGag:
** Creator/IemasaKayumi, Slayer's original voice actor, was the regular Japanese dub voice of Creator/ChristopherLee, whose most famous role was playing Literature/Dracula.
** After Creator/IemasaKayumi passed away, Slayer's role was recast to Creator/TakayaHashi, who is certainly no stranger to playing immortal characters, or ones with powerful fighting styles associated with the stars and the heavens.
** Baiken's new voice actress, Creator/MayumiAsano, voiced a samurai's wife.
** In Strive, Creator/RobbieDaymond voices the psychotic antagonist Happy Chaos, who has TricksterGod elements to him. This is certainly not the first time he's played such a character.
** In Strive, Jack-O' Valentine is voiced by Nicole Tompkins (Jill Valentine) from VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Remake.
** In Strive, Asuka mentions wanting to start a radio show in order to help spread mutual understanding between everyone in the world. He's also voiced by Creator/TomokazuSugita in the Japanese version, who happens to have hosted several online radio shows including VideoGame/BlazBlue Radio.
** In the English dub of Strives story mode, POTUS Colin Vernon is voiced by Anthony Alabi, former offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins. Vernon, of course, is shown to have a fondness for the ol' pigskin.
** Testament is an androgynous character who evokes nightmarish, occult imagery. In Strive, they are voiced by Creator/YuuKobayashi, who is not only no stranger to playing both female and male roles, but is known for her very nightmarish artwork. A more straightforward example occurs in the English dub as their English VA, Creator/KayleighMcKee, is transgender.

* RelationshipVoiceActor:
** In the dub of Xrd, Ky and May are brother and sister. Doubles as RealLifeRelative.
** A big chunk of the dub cast of VideoGame/PersonaQShadowOfTheLabyrinth have reunited to lend their voices to this game (the Persona 3 protag, Yosuke, Akihiko, Mitsuru, Chie, Kanji and Teddie). Makes sense considering that the dub was recorded by the same people that dub the Persona games.
** While not much, the dub also takes a few actors from VideoGame/BlazBlue as well: Leo is Iron Tager, Potemkin is Jubei, Bedman is Amane Nishki and Ramlethal is Bullet.
** Bedman and Millia's dub voices are married.
** Oh what do you know, Xrd can be chalked up with yet another 'clash' between Creator/HikaruMidorikawa and Creator/TakehitoKoyasu, especially the fight between Bedman and Zato.
** Both Sol Badguy and Johnny can easily be compared nowadays, due to the magic combo of respectively, Creator/JojiNakata and Creator/NorioWakamoto. Many of their roles come to mind, but Manga/Hellsing fans will often remember Alucard and Father Anderson. AMEEEEEEEEEN~!
** Elphelt and Leo are both Mako Mankanshoku and Ira Gamagoori, respectively.
** Even more hilarious is that That Man and Raven are respectively, Ragna the Bloodedge and Azrael in the sibling series to Guilty Gear.
** Sol, Zato/Eddie and Ky are Giroro, Kururu and Dororo.
** Ky and Bedman are Hanamichi and Rukawa and Trunks and Tenshinhan, Android 16, Pikkon and Spice.
*** Johnny as Cell and Leo as Nappa.
** Potemkin/Faust, Axl and Chipp are Terry, Andy and K' respectively.
** Johnny, Venom, Raven and Jack O' are M.Bison, Vega, Guile and R.Mika.
** That Man, I-No, Answer and Venom are Hideki, Chitose, Shinbo and Kojima.
** Sol, Anji and Answer are Kotomine, Lancer and Gilgamesh.
