* Japanese copies of the NES game kept the infamous "dream and friends" good ending from the prototype.

* TalkingToHerself: Russi Taylor did the voices of Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby, so this was an inevitability.
** Very many of the voices for the more minor characters in episodes were provided by Peter Cullen. There are several episodes where nearly every male character that isn't a main character is him, conversing with each other or not.
** In the episode "Earthquack" Scrooge is imprisoned by a guard also voiced by Alan Young.

** The new Mrs. Beakley is Creator/WendeeLee (LightNovel/HaruhiSuzumiya, [[Manga/LuckyStar Konata Izumi]], [[WesternAnimation/MegasXLR Kiva]], and [[Anime/CowboyBebop Faye Valentine]])

* NoExportForYou: The Remastered version was not released in Japan. Justified, as the original NES game was made for Western audiences in mind. Averted when the iOS/Android ports came.

* HeyItsThatVoice: Creator/FrankWelker is a demonic banana!
** He is also Big Time Beagle, Baggy Beagle, Bubba Duck and the Terra Firmie King, among others
*** Speaking of the Beagle Boys, Bouncer and Burger, not to mention Duckworth, are voiced by Chuck [=McCann=], who previously played Barney (onscreen) in the Sid and Marty Krofft series Series/FarOutSpaceNuts.
** Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby have a [[WesternAnimation/StrawberryShortcake "berry"]][[note]]original 1980s version[[/note]] distinctive voice as well, although in this show, the actress in question uses one of her [[MuppetBabies "weirder"]] sounding voices.
