Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** Gossamer is ''not'' a [[WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes giant red-furred tooth in tennis shoes]]. And it's Balkar, not [[Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick Belkar]].
** The Overlord's half of the Power Star is called the [[WesternAnimation/HeManAndTheMastersOfTheUniverse1983 "PowerSword"]].[[note]]Here, it's written in CamelCase, whereas the alternate name for He-Man's Sword of Power has the two words written separately.[[/note]]
** Overlord is no relation to the identically-named ''WesternAnimation/SpiralZone'' villain.
*** Or to the identically-named ''ComicBook/SavageDragon'' villain.
** Kadray is a "Time Lord" but the term's usage in this show predates by a few years, the widespread international introduction of the [[Series/DoctorWho franchise with which the term would be exclusively connected worldwide]].

!! For the Music/DavidBowie [[Music/{{Blackstar}} album]]:
* ExecutiveMeddling: The title track was cut down from over eleven minutes to just under ten because of iTunes' restriction on single length. Bowie was adamant that it be the lead single from the album, and did not wish to release two versions of the song, as he felt doing so would confuse listeners. Producer Tony Visconti called Apple's policy "total bullshit".
* RealitySubtext: The now-infamous fact that Bowie was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2014 and spent much of the following year recording this album as a reflection of what was then the very real possibility of his death; the cancer would be declared terminal in November, with Bowie meeting the inevitable just two days after the album's release.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: See ExecutiveMeddling above.
** There was intended to be a follow-up to ''Blackstar''. Bowie had actually recorded five demos and was planning to work again with Visconti a week ''before'' his passing. Suffice to say, the peaceful ending to the album ends up more depressing.

Hey Its That Guy cut by TRS decision. Ditto for Hey Its That Voice.

* HeyItsThatVoice: Allan Oppenheimer is Overlord, who is pretty much Skeletor's precursor, also voiced by Oppenheimer.
** Blackstar himself is voiced by George [=DiCenzo=], who would go on to voice Bow and Hordak in She-ra: Princess of Power.
** He was previously Sentinel One in WesternAnimation/SpaceSentinels, another Filmation series.
