* For anyone that can understand Spanish from the Latin American dub, any scene with Deidara is a TearJerker after finding out that Jesus Barrero, his voice actor, passed away a week after the game came out. The worst part was that the actor was known for his role as the protagonist in ''Manga/SaintSeiya'' and many others shows. Knowing that this is one of his last works, if not the last, makes the game hard to play if you are from Mexico or Hispanic nationality.
** It's even worse for the cast as due to the game having many characters on it, many actors were needed, and most of them actually worked with him in ''Anime/SaintSeiya'' and other anime, especially the majority of the main cast.

** The aftermath of their battle is full of emotions. By the end of the scene, this realization eventually drives Sasuke to turn his head away but [[ManlyTears his tears]] are clearly shown.

There are some tearjerkers in the game. It seems like CyberConnect2 make it their job to try and make us cry.

* First thing first, Kakashi's reaction when he starts putting two and two together and deduce Tobi's identity. Then the masks break and Kakashi's face screams BrokenPedestal. The fact that his old friend doesn't even bother explaining himself, before Kakashi asks is just the ice on the cake.
** And later of course, the boss battle against Obito, in the Kamui dimension. IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight indeed, but it does not work.

* Obito's entire StartOfDarkness is [[VideoGameCaringPotential playable]]. It's hard to not put you in his shoes when you control him as he trains with the Zetsus and later slaughter the Mists Ninjas after Rin's death.
* Obito's taunting of Minato, his master, as he says he always found him a bit clueless, and that he's always late or not even there for life changing events.
** Obito again, seeing himself as Hokage when he's defeated by Naruto and Sasuke, shows that, deep inside, he regrets what he has done, even if he doesn't want to admit it.
* Rock Lee's face of despair when Guy announce he'll open the gate of death to fight Madara. Madara compares Guy's new form as red autumn leaves falling on the ground.
* Obito's death, of course, as he is desintegrated by Kaguya. He just has time to give his chakra and Sharingans to Kakashi before dying.
* The FinalBattle: Naruto Vs Sasuke. As the game, makes you play all their battles up until now. Starting for the academy until the battle after the Kage Summit, before returning to the present with Naruto and Sasuke so tired that they can't use jutsu can barely walk or throw a punch.
** During the final Rasengan Vs Chidori clash, Sasuke flies past images of several important figures in his life, as if he was trying to leave them behind to pursue his goals. Naruto has an image of the alliance and Tailed Beasts supporting him from behind. However, of all the images of the people Sasuke remembers, [[LoveMartyr Sakura]] is the last person he sees and she's crying, which implies that Sasuke ''does'' feel particularly guilty for all the crap he put her through.
** The Secret Factor. It is a CallBack to the first ''Storm'' game, with a young Naruto and Sasuke standing in a shining white background. As their hands reach out to perform the Unison Sign, a bright light shines from their hands and covers the whole screen. Those who have read the manga already know what that [[AnArmAndALeg symbolizes]].

* If you put Rinnegan Sasuke against Six-Paths Naruto, and finish with your Ultimate jutsu, Sasuke will say sadly "I'm all alone now."
* Rin's Ultimate Jutsu. Rin's entire moveset is basically an improvement of pre-TimeSkip Sakura's with usage of ninja tools and traps, with her jutsu being the summoning of a rolling log. Then you are hit with her Ultimate Jutsu where the Sanbi sealed inside her body takes over Rin and blasts the opponent with a Tailed Beast Bomb before the collective voice of her friends calling her name bring her back to normal...in a crying state.
