History Series / NickVerse

This is the {{Nickelodeon}} equivalent to the [[{{DCLAU}} Disney Channel Live Action Universe]]. Is often called the [[DanSchneider Schneiderverse]] as he is the driving force behind the most important shows in the universe.

The Series/NickVerse was generally not based around deliberate crossovers, until ''Series/{{Victorious}}'' began. Before ''Series/{{Victorious}}'', a [[ThrowItIn blasé approach]] to continuity led to a melding of some quite complicated RecursiveCanon[=-=]esque elements in certain Nick shows. These contradications can often be chalked up to TheyJustDidntCare. An animated Nickverse also exists and may be part of the live-action Series/NickVerse.

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: Many of the shows or stars could be considered this to DisneyChannel, for example ''Series/BigTimeRush'' to ''JONAS'', MirandaCosgrove to MileyCyrus, etc.

* ''Series/NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide'': Comic superhero Crimson Chin exists in both this show and Fairly Odd Parents
* ''WesternAnimation/BackAtTheBarnyard'': Otis and Pig appear in one of Sheen's daydreams in Planet Sheen. They exist, at the very least, in Sheen's imagination

* CelebrityParadox: Several actors have shown up as themselves on various shows in the Series/NickVerse despite playing characters that exist as real in the same universe. The most obvious example would be Drake Bell showing up on {{Zoey 101}} as himself, despite his character Drake Parker existing as a real person in the same universe that {{Zoey 101}} and all the other Series/NickVerse shows are part of. This is an aversion of CelebrityParadox.

** In the ''Series/{{Victorious}}'' episode, "Who Did It to Trina?", Cat explains a scene from a ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' episode, after which her friends explain that it wasn't real, it happened in a TV show: ''Series/DrakeAndJosh.'' The show can also be seen on Carly's listings on her TV in the ''Series/{{iCarly}}'' episode, "iPear Store". Additionally, Carly and Spencer have been seen watching some episodes (Carly tended to be seen [[ActorAllusion watching Megan-centric scenes]] and Spencer tended to be seen [[ActorAllusion watching Crazy Steve-centric scenes.]]) Also, in ''Series/SamAndCat'', Sam watches a part of Drake and Josh in Episode 2, "Favorite Show".

** The episode before "Who Did It To Trina?" was named "Helen Back", and it involved Helen from Drake And Josh showing up to become the principal of the school.

** Star Wars and Green Day exist in Big Time Rush, whereas in the conventional Nick Verse they are replaced with Galaxy Wars and Yellow Day. This may be evidence against BTR being set in the Nick Verse. however characters from Star Wars have been mentioned in Series/ICarly like Darth Vader, which could imply that Galaxy Wars and Star Wars exist together
** MirandaCosgrove was also on an episode AsHerself, which complicates things further. however should be noted that Miranda (along other actors) have played multiple characters in Nickverse. even Josh Peck appeared as himself in Victorious despite the fact Victorious shares continuity with Drake and Josh

** Yo Gabba Gabba makes a cameo in Big Time Rush episode "Big Time Cameo". The two groups meet backstage, but the Yo Gabba Gabba characters continue to act as if they are in a children's edutainment show. This suggests that Big Time Rush is interacting with the actual Yo Gabba Gabba characters, and they live in a universe where the Yo Gabba Gabba characters exist offstage
