* DoesNotLikeShoes: Wants to touch the earth, after all.
* EarthyBarefootCharacter: A druid whose focus centers on spreading growth from the earth beneath her feet, so naturally, she DoesNotLikeShoes because they interrupt her connection with the soil.

* BladeOnAStick: Polearms are his weapon of choice.

* BladeOnAStick: Typically wields a halberd as his chosen weapon.

* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: Occasionally shatters small, fragile objects because he is much more accustomed to holding sturdy, heavy weapons, like his BladeOnAStick.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Her typically warmer, lighter voice can change immediately into a husky, threatening signal that Kore is going to start strangling people with vines if they do not heed her words. With Hadrian, this signals an entirely different kind of “danger”...

* ShesGotLegs: Long, well-developed, and toned ones [[spoiler: (which Cole has seen fit to notice and comment upon at any given opportunity)]] which her kicks and robes tend to reveal.

* DarkSkinnedRedhead: Darker-skinned as a Kalashtar with a giant, flowing mane of reddish hair. Partially {{Averted}} in terms of her character, however, as she is not the traditional explosive adventure-seeker, being just as content to stay at home with Hadrian as she is to march her way around the plane.

* NeatFreak: Obsessed with cleanliness in general, and given the stress she has been through lately, this has been cranked UpToEleven as a coping mechanism. She will even clean when she’s trying to be stealthy.

* GreenThumb: Par for the course with Druids, but Kore takes this UpToEleven. Her greatest hobby is creating acres and acres of beautiful growth and growing some of the most delicious fruit in the world.

* MyBelovedSmother: Kore’s mother never much liked Kore’s love for wandering to begin with, much preferring that she stay under her protective eye and bring beauty to their home and their home alone, but now that Kore has left to live with Hadrian, her mother’s smothering tendencies have been taken UpToEleven… and made complex by the fact that her mother is as powerful a magic user as Kore herself.

* BlueBlood: Her father is the current patriarch of an influential house descended of mages. Of course, his lust for power is turning this lineage into a DeadlyDecadentCourt variety, and Nashira wants no part of it, the influence and fortune be damned.

* BadDreams: Inverted. [[spoiler: He actually spent quite a while adjusting to the fact that he does ''not'' have dreams anymore, considering he was separated from his Aasimar brethren and contact with the Celestials.]]

* BadDreams: [[spoiler: Part of the HearingVoices package. Not so much ''bad'' dreams, but violent ones frequent enough before he left to join the raid on the drow that he lost a decent amount of sleep.]]

* HeroicSelfDepreciation: Downplayed. He often outwardly questions his own decisions, skills, and knowledge, but rarely does he let any of his doubts slow him down, as long as he has the support of others.

* DissmissingACompliment: Tends to be his go-to when anyone has kinds words for him. To a certain extent, he has heard that he is a disappointment enough that he believes it and is, for the most part, okay with it as long as he feels like he's ''trying'' to do the right thing.

* CastFromHitPoints: How his powers work as a Blood Hunter, though it is not his blood that is being affected. Instead, his exceptional amount of "life force" as an Aasimar is depleted and directed into radiant strikes against his enemies.
* CreepyGood: Hadrian's powers are built on a base of radiant-energy-depleting magic (and his own radiant energy!), but DarkIsNotEvil. It's understandable that the man chosen to ensure the comfortable passage of death for the powerful would be as unsettling as an undertaker, even given the nobility of his work.

* GoodIsNotNice: Dark and intimidating to most people, but Hadrian's primary goal is simply to ensure that mortals - even those who could possibly be immortal if they didn’t wish for the peace of eternal rest - can live, die, and enter the afterlife in peace without anyone trying to manipulate that process for personal gain.

* LovecraftianSuperpower: The being that Hadrian pacted with, whatever it may be in nature beyond an oddity, provided him with numerous powers in addition to his ability to empower his weapons with magic CastFromHitPoints. They vary from mind-reading to throwing down Darkness-emitting tentacles.

* SupernormalBindings: See BadassInDistress. She was only able to be locked away when contained by bindings that negated her innumerable magic gifts, leaving her with just enough magic to keep herself alive and healthy. Little did she know that they sapped her magic, as well, though she has regained a measure of her previous capability.

* TheIngenue: Averted. Might strike someone as this in the first moments of interaction with her. Then they find out, however earthly, naive, and innocent she might appear due to her love for flowers and nature in general and her optimism, she is nonetheless the FieryRedhead, Thetease, and a potentially very impatient badass all in one.

* OlderThanHeLooks: Does not look particularly aged, but he is in his seventies. Not a problem for fairly long-lived Aasimar.

* EarthlyBarefootCharacter: A druid whose focus centers on spreading growth from the earth beneath her feet, so naturally, she DoesNotLikeShoes because they interrupt her connection with the soil.

* RoyalRapier: Her weapon of choice, given her preference to outmaneuver threats.

* SingleTargetSexuality: For Kore. He never considered being with anyone before her and has not considered anyone since they met and married. She's just that unique to him.

* EroticEating: Apparently, when she first revealed herself to Hadrian, she did this with a peach to get him hot and bothered. It worked, magnificently.

* FallenAngel: More like FallenGod. Thyria had become essentially a self-appointed divine being who walked with the elder gods, Celestials, and the like for years before her power earned her too many enemies, and she was brought to heel, stripping her of many of the powers that provided her the ability to stand among these beings.

* {{Familiar}}: His Celestial usually-a-ferret-but-sometimes-other-creatures, Jogjebi. Silyang bothered to crack open books on magic use just so he could find out how to summon Jogjebi, and he often not-so-jokingly lauds the creature as the party's most valuable member.

* ForbiddenLove: Not so much forbidden, but arranged marriages for nobles are the expectation in Jikyeo-ui. Those few nobles who do not have their marriages arranged are expected to at least maintain family prestige by marrying into families with strong titles or notable family names. Silyang, part of the royal family, would be breaking both rules by following his desires and marrying Kochi and has kept the more romantic details of their relationship a "secret" among the nobility (from most, anyway) for half a decade.

* ObfuscatingStupidity: Downplayed. Silyang often lampshades how he didn't actually pay attention to many of his studies. While he's not as dumb as he claims, he truly did slack off when it came to many of his studies and has several gaps in his knowledge, including some of the finer details of the religion to which he is an acolyte. He doesn't show much interest in filling in these gaps, either.
* ModestRoyalty: Considered this by most of the people who actually ''met'' him in Jikyeo. Really, Silyang doesn't care that he's royalty and will fraternize with anyone and everyone

* ProperlyParanoid: Aside from his robes, which mark him as nothing more than being a well-off man from Jikyeo and typically stay hidden beneath his Cloak of Void, anyway, Silyang takes minor, necessary precautions to ensure he is not recognized, including his fake name (a common one in Jikyeo-ui), his avoidance of using his native tongue, and his awareness of how certain gestures might make him stand out in a crowd.
* ReallyRoyaltyReveal: When it seems like diplomatic sway is the only moral way to try and break Sapine's sister out of prison left as an option, Silyang finally breaks to the party that he is the prince of Jikyeo-ui, rather than a simple merchant noble, since they may need him to apply some political sway.

* SolarAndLunar: The Cycle, the name of the group of goddesses that have given Silyang's family its divine right, represent aspects of day and night in relation to the various stages of life. As a Light Cleric, Silyang leans towards the solar aspects.
* WalkingTheEarth: Silyang's plan upon leaving Jikyeo-ui, with emphasis on getting into adventures and learning from and about other people. Has good reason, as he wants to actually be among the people, changing lives, and also wants to learn how to be a better leader.
* WarriorPrince: ZigZaggingTrope. Though he has been raised and trained as a cleric meant to fight with weapons and magic, as are many nobles in Jikyeo, Silyang has never shown any interest in wielding weapons and only used his magic for healing and practicing with the fire he can create. Now that he has started adventuring, however, Silyang casts magic in battle with the best of them... though he still keeps his daggers on his belt, if he can help it.

A Devoted Paladin and Courtier from the petty kingdom of Jikyeo-ui in the service of Silyang. Has a Fey ancestry that she has tried, but failed, to keep secret.

* BathtubBonding: It was in a bath after nearly being killed by a fireball that Kochi swore her Oath of Devotion to Silyang, promising that she would continue to follow him into danger for the greater good.
* BattleCouple: With Silyang, to the point that she doesn't flinch (aside from raising her shield) when he is throwing fireballs over and around her.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: She became attached to Silyang as a child when he found her and convinced his family (or more accurately, [[spoiler: royal retainers]] Wihan and Anae) to take her in. Their companionship promptly blossomed into a romance once they were teens.
* DevotedToYou: A Paladin who has sworn an Oath of Devotion as much to Silyang as to an ideal, alongside her devotion to him as a woman.
* FirstKiss: A unique and meaningful one. After years together and teasing romance, Kochi and Silyang come to the end of an especially flirtatious training session, and to deal with their nerves about acting, Silyang casts a spell on her. That spell was Command, and that Command was "Kiss." Needless to say, she didn't try to resist.
* FlirtatiousSmackOnTheAss: Frequently shared with Silyang, when one or the other of them does something impressive.
* KinkyCuffs: Appears to be one of Kochi's favored ways to "pass the time" with Silyang at night with their newfound freedom to be intimate with each other.

* UndyingLoyalty: To Silyang. Kochi has been his closest companion while both of them have grown up, and she has seen in him a kindness that doesn't seem to be present in the other royals.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Kochi does not want ''anyone'' touching Silyang, and she will cast herself into combat to ensure enemies think twice before bypassing her and attacking him.

* BladeOnAStick: Polearms are his weapon of choice. [[spoiler: Makes it even more "convenient" that he found a glowing spear during his escape from the Underdark.]]

* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Due to not having a litany of magical powers like most drow, her being a bastard, and her disinterest in sexing and slaughtering her way to the top, most drow who had a right to (i.e., the ones she didn't have to take down a notch just to survive and the ones who hadn't already been beaten down by another drow) looked on her with disain.

* CallingYourAttacks: Lenon calls out every. Spell. He. Casts.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He doesn't ''seem'' to have much to offer beyond blasting enemies with flames over and over again, but usually, he knows how to fight well with others to make sure they all come out of it victorious.

An Aasimar in more of a partnership than a pact with a powerful Celestial being who favored her mother.

A Half-Elven Assassin with a bounty large enough that few have not heard his name.

* LukeIAmYourFather: [[spoiler: Is the father of the current emperor. As far as he knows, he is the only living person who is aware of this fact, and he expects it shall remain this way.]]

* TheNoseKnows: Has a keen and highly trained sense of smell, able to move about in dark places using scents. [[spoiler: Was trained to gain this skill when his handlers would lash him if he could not differentiate the scents of different types of trees.]]

* TheSpock: Sic'arus will always promote the most practical solution, devoid of all emotion, to any and all situations, which, in dangerous or tense situations, usually involves killing the source of the danger even if it's merely someone doing their job, such as a guardsman or secretary who might alert someone to his presence.

* CallToAdventure: Not so much adventure, but to duty.

* CreepyGood: Hadrian's powers are built on a base of radiant-energy-depleting magic (and his own radiant energy!), but DarkIsNotEvil. It's understandable that the man chosen to ensure the comfortable passage of death would be as unsettling as an undertaker, even given the nobility of his work.

* TheEndIsNigh:

* GoodIsNotNice: Dark and intimidating to most people, but Hadrian's primary goal is simply to ensure that mortals can live, die, and enter the afterlife in peace without anyone trying to manipulate that process for personal gain.

* HiddenHeartOfGold: Though he plays it off as simply maintaining the order of things, he truly wants to see mortals be able to enjoy their lives without worry about immortals interfering with their existences, mostly because he is aware of the worst the immortals can do.

* SingleTargetSexuality: For Persephone. He never considered being with anyone before her and has not considered anyone since they met and married. She's just that unique to him.
* TheStoic: Generally keeps up an emotionless facade around strangers, but {{AvertedTrope}} when it comes to his wife or particular situations that happen to move him to strong feelings, such as watching lives and loves end in tragedy.

* ActionSurvivor: How he tends to make it through most situations. He truly would like to just pursue his life's chosen passion in peace but considering that passion tends to lead him into encounters with cutthroats, ancient dangers, and the like, he solves problems as they present themselves. Unhappily.

* Determinator:
* HotForTeacher: Aerial was recently Sagan's instructor in all things military.

* HeroWithAnFInGood: As a man who had desires to acquire god-like powers, Genesis does not exactly possess a... benevolent nature. However, Thyria tends towards ''fairly'' noble actions more often than not despite her great power, and Genesis stays in step with her. In fact, doing good seems ''natural'' and ''right'' now, though that doesn't stop him from recommending rather... harsh or self-serving solutions to problems.

* BadassInDistress: For all of her magical might in the past, it was not enough for her to protect herself when clever enemies robbed her of her ability to cast - through speech, through movement, through motion, anything. She spent ages this way in SupernormalBindings without much in the way of options or allies before Genesis searched deeply enough into the lore about her to find and release her through incantations.

* MysticalWhiteHair: Silver in her case, but she is a sorceress of near-mythical power whose waist-length hair seems to mark her as such... and as a former divine.

* Really700YearsOld: Her exact age isn't known, given that anyone who knew of her as a borderline diety is long since deceased or otherwise not around to chat, but considering the oldest tome that Genesis managed to acquire on her was centuries old, she is up there. Thanks to magic and her divine nature, however, she doesn't look a day over her mid-thirties at most.
