** Semi-related: In episode "Don't Mess With The Best", there's a brief shot in the beginning where we get an extreme close-up on Victoria's face as she's handling the little figurines. Her eyes not only glow red, but they have greater detail than before - showing the iris and pupil, whereas before, they were only represented as black dots.

* Dr. Two-Brains' appearance. Imagine being a little kid seeing a mad scientist with red eyes and a tiny brain sticking out from his head!
** His scenario is even worse, Its pretty clear that Squeak is usually the one calling the shots (or at least the dominate personality, as it's shown in 'Of Two Minds' that he's not completely in control) when it comes to Two-Brain's so one has to wonder about Steven in all this. As he's practically a mental prisoner against his own body and mind, forced against his better will to watch himself become a monster, and what's worse he is that he still is as of the finale.
** It helps that he was voiced by Tom Kenny, who voices many well-meaning characters.
* In the episode Victoria Best, when Victoria lost a trophy to Becky Botsford for vocabulary, her parents are disappointed and tell her to keep her eyes on the prize. Their eyes start to grow red, and so does Victoria's. Becky herself is visibly scared when Victoria was staring at her with red glowing eyes, and was remaining silent.

* In Lunch Lady Chuck, Chuck puts on a hairnet that is too tight and it compresses the entire top of his head. Where is his brain? He goes to the dentist in one episode--what are his teeth attached to? Are they floating around inside the bread? WordOfGod says Chuck's head is a sandwich and the rest of his body is a human's body, so one has to wonder how he's able to blush, cry, get a cold, etc.
** Additionally, if he is a sandwich, is him eating sandwiches some sort of cannibalism? He makes a sandwich shaped like [=WordGirl=] and asks it how brave she'll be in his belly-- just creepy overall.
* The music that plays when something sad happens, such as when Becky insults Bob in "The Rise of Miss Power." Doubles as a tearjerker.
