* While not as bizarre as many of the examples listed here, Dio's psychological and physical torture of poor Erina in the aftermath of the ship explosion is terrifying. Having just attached his head to Jonathan's body, he hitches himself to the coffin Erina and Lisa Lisa are in and demands Erina's blood. Erina is forced to let him drink her blood after he threatens Lisa Lisa. He spends the next several days abusing Erina, telling her it's her fault Jonathan is dead. He also physically tortures her by repeatedly dunking her in the ocean (using The World) and almost letting her drown, all while he keeps draining her of blood. A combination of psychological torture, anemia, sunstroke, and exhaustion causes Erina to temporarily forget who she is and thinks she's nothing but Dio's plaything. Fortunately she eventually gets the upper hand, but the ordeal Erina went through is staggering.

* Childhood of Antonio Torres (Anthony Hightower) was not good either. Each year, his mother would skin him alive (slowly and piece by piece at first, with treatment of wounds in-between, in order for him to survive) to make ''"This year's Antonio"'' - a twisted and grotesque work of art, which is, basically, a hide from the skin of her own son. It was so bad, that he has developed a Wound (Stand-like power, created from trauma), which allowed him to shed all of his skin at once like a snake. And this power stayed after his death, creating the skin zombies.

Even being turned to zombies did nothing to stop them from covering the walls in drawings, until they've burned completely. And then there's this part...
