Removed per TRS.

* {{Badass}}: The band in general pretty much oozes this.
** Eric Adams is [[ManlyMenCanHunt an actual hunter]], too -- and he doesn't hunt with a gun; he hunts ''with a bow and arrows''. Not only that, he actually teaches ''other'' people how to hunt! Manowar literally makes other people manlier.

Moving to Tear Jerker subpage

* TearJerker: ''Master of the Wind'' in tone and execution is unlike the majority of Manowar songs, as it was dedicated to a boy in a hospital who wanted to meet the band before he died.
--> '''[=DeMaio=]''': The message suits the occasion: there will be good days again, and if this boy is not around to see the good days here on earth then maybe somewhere else maybe beyond the rainbow.

Changed quoting to differentiate between Kings of Metal the song and the album

** The first stanza of ''Blood of the Kings'' on the ''Kings of Metal'' album is mostly a recitation of the band's previous five album titles.

Like A Badass Out Of Hell is being split into new tropes.

* DevilsJobOffer: The song "Dark Avenger" is the story of a man who was horribly wronged by local village elders, and eventually killed. When he enters Hades, the "Guardian of Lost Souls", (voiced by Creator/OrsonWelles) offers him a job. The man is equipped with a magic blade which was forged in brimstone and tempered in the tears of the unavenged dead, as well as a pitch-black horse with flaming eyes to carry him back to Earth. The Guardian tells him to "seek payment, not only for thine own anguish, but vindicate the souls of the Unavenged". The song then is told from the Dark Avenger's perspective, which he mostly spends listing the fates of his targets.

* LikeABadassOutOfHell: "Dark Avenger".

Myth/ is a work namespace, and works cannot be used as tropes.

* NorseMythology: Many of Manowar's songs are about this subject. To their credit, they do tend to research the aforementioned in great detail. Odin would be proud.
** Case in point, they directly quote the Havamal in ''Odin''.
-->''Speared'',
-->''Hung upside down'',
-->''Nine days and nights'',
-->''No food or mead'',
-->''The will to be'',
-->''A sacrifice'',
-->''Of myself unto myself''

* RockOpera: ''Gods of War'' is an album heavily influenced by the works of Richard Wagner. The album is a Norse Mythology-influenced tale that tells the story of Odin and his four sons.
