Secretly working for a GovernmentConspiracy and despising the Thirds, D'anclaude designs a host of assassin robots in his image to murder them. Starting a [[SerialKiller serial killing]] spree of Third women, D'anclaude intends to inspire a wave of anti-Third violence, even resorting to [[SuicideAttack suicide bombers]] to enhance the anti-robot sentiment.

** [[BigBad Shiro]], real name [[ItsAllAboutMe Kotaro Yanigasawa]], was a MadScientist focused on utilizing {{Antimatter}} in a human body, and the reason [[Characters/AssassinationClassroomKorosensei Koro-sensei]] may [[WhyAmITicking destroy the world]]. To this end, he used the famed assassin the God Of Death as a human guinea pig in painful experiments, using his own fiancée as their liaison since Yanagisawa figured she was worthless as a hostage. When the God of Death escaped, destroyed the lab and took Yanigasawa's eye, the scientist formed the identity of Shiro and plotted his vengeance. He implanted a boy named Itona with the same tentacles and later [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness abandoned him to die when he'd served his purpose]]. Mutating the assassin's former protege into a monstrosity, he tested his new success by having him annihilate a giant building--and anybody inside--before attacking Koro-sensei and his students. Having the second God of Death attack Koro-sensei, Yanagisawa opted to then have the students attacked, gloating how he'd kill every single one of them painfully and Korosensei would be forced to watch his class die before dying in despair. When his former fiancée's sister attempted to help Korosensei, Yanagisawa had her impaled through the chest and gloated how he'd intended to use her as a "[[ReplacementGoldfish replacement]]" for her sister.

* ''Anime/AyakashiSamuraiHorrorTales'' (Episodes 1-4--''Theatre/YotsuyaKaidan'' arc): [[VillainProtagonist Tamiya Iemon]], while initially more sympathetic than his theatre counterpart, quickly becomes just as evil. When the father of his fiancée Oiwa breaks off their marriage due to his Ronin status, Iemon murders the man in order to have Oiwa return to him and pretends to seek vengeance. After the TimeSkip, Iemon tortures a servant for stealing his medicine to save his ailing father and kidnaps him. After the birth of Oiwa;s child, Iemon loses all affection for her and agrees to marry the woman who poisoned and disfigured her solely for her wealth. Iemon then instructs one of his friends to rape Oiwa in order to get her thrown out for infidelity, and to murder her if she fights back. After the man informs Oiwa of the scheme, Oiwa is so mortified [[DrivenToSuicide she kills herself]], to which Iemon has no remorse. Iemon then murders his kidnapped servant even after he offers to not spill the truth in exchange for the medicine, in order to frame him as Oiwa's illicit lover, and has his infant son killed with them. When Oiwa returns as a [[StringyHairedGhostGirl ghost]] and kills his new family, Iemon shows no grief.

* ''Manga/{{Beastars}}''' [[Recap/BeastarsMeteorFestivalArc "Meteor Festival" arc]]: The unnamed chief [[CatsAreMean lion]] of the Shishigumi, favoring the taste of white-furred herbivores, has ordered the abduction of countless victims to serve as his meals over the years, resulting in Haru being captured by his men. The chief lion believes that feelings of shame promote blood flow, improving the flavor of the meat, so he would [[MindRape psychologically torment]] his prey by forcing them to strip and bathe in front of him before looking over every inch of their body in order to humiliate them. During this process, the chief lion seems to have a polite demeanor, even stopping his men from brutalizing Haru, but this is proven to be [[FauxAffablyEvil nothing more than a façade]] which quickly crumbles when she starts showing signs of defiance, as he threatens to violate her and attempts to tear her apart while she's still alive. After being defeated and spared by Legoshi, the chief lion [[SoreLoser proves how utterly dishonorable he is]] by attempting to shoot him InTheBack.

* ''Anime/BloodPlus'': [[MadScientist Amshel Goldsmith]] is a [[EvilutionaryBiologist researcher]] obsessed with [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Chiropterans]], TheManInFrontOfTheMan to [[TheHeavy Diva]], and [[DragonInChief responsible for all the chaos in the setting]]. Since her birth, Amshel [[TheChessmaster twisted Diva]] to become a PsychopathicWomanchild easy for him to control, while he used her resulting appetite for death and destruction to [[{{Greed}} profit and increase his own power]] at the expense of her victims. Living for hundreds of years, Amshel now has the public persona of the [[CorruptCorporateExecutive CEO]] of pharmaceutical company Cinque Flèches, and uses his wealth to create a group of artificial Chiropterans known as The Schiff, raising them as ChildSoldiers and treating them like equipment, as shown by his indifference to their deaths when they escape his clutches and their shortened lifespans begin to expire. A man with loyalty to none, Amshel even kills his own brother, Solomon, for falling in love with Saya. His false loyalty to Diva is an obvious ruse which even she can see through but chooses to go along with out of loneliness, and when she's killed, Amshel reacts with only irritation and demands to be given her children so he can continue his insane experiments.

* ''Anime/BlueReflectionRay'': Shino Mizusaki's [[EvilMatriarch mother]] was the leader of the Saint Inés Religion and {{abusive|Parents}} to both Shino and her twin sister Kano. She used them as the figurehead of her movement to [[TheSocialDarwinist eliminate the weak people of society]]--the sick, poor, elderly, and uneducated. However, she forced Kano to be Shino, denying her a sense of self and beating her whenever she acknowledged herself as an individual. Whenever Shino made a mistake, [[IWillPunishYourFriendForYourFailure she would beat Kano in her place]], saying that her mistakes are why her sister is suffering. Eventually, this culminated in her performing a ritual to make Shino a true god by draining Kano's blood and force-feeding it to Shino. Her actions are in part [[FreudianExcuse what led to Shino's current misanthropy]].

*** Chapters 15-22: [[SmugSnake Lord Aaron]] is a vile Nova Hispania [[TheConqueror conquistador]] who enslaved the residents of the Philippine Archipelago after lying that he came in peace. Aaron has wiped out entire villages, personally tortures and executes whatever dissidents he can get his hands on, and captured a rebel's fiancée so he could turn her into a mindless Knightmare and have her kill her old beloved and his friends.

** [[MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate Dr.]] [[EvilCounterpart Gaia]] in the 2001 anime is the top [[MadScientist scientist]] of Black Ghost and the creator of the Mythos Cyborgs. An old colleague of Dr. Gilmore, Gaia and Gilmore disagreed on the concept of human emotions, with Gaia [[EvilCannotComprehendGood believing them to be a weakness]] while Gilmore thought they gave people strength. Setting up base on Magma Island, Gaia activates his Mythos Cyborgs and convinces them that they're actual Greek Gods who have returned to [[TheScourgeOfGod punish humanity for their sins]] and create a better world. Gaia then sends them across the world to cause disasters affecting hundreds of people so he can gather energy for his generator. When Artemis begins to [[HeelRealization doubt the Greek Gods' mission]] and [[ScrewThisImOutOfHere leaves]], Gaia fatally shoots her to prevent her from possibly interfering with his plans, even though she showed no intention of standing in the Mythos Cyborgs' way. Even as Magma Island collapses as a result of his generator overloading, Dr. Gaia refuses listen to reason, instead declaring that he can use his generator to [[AGodAmI become a god]]. In the end, Gaia is shown to not care about anything other than [[EvilIsPetty proving that his cyborgs are better than Gilmore's]] and [[AGodAmI becoming a god]].

* ''Manga/DeathNote'': [[Characters/DeathNoteLightYagami Light Yagami]] is a brilliant, [[ItsAllAboutMe egotistical]] student who finds the titular [[DeadlyBook Death Note]] and soon embarks on a quest to [[AGodAmI become the God of a "perfect" world he will create]]. After killing multiple criminals with the Note, Light flies into a rage when a man denounces his public name of "Kira" on TV, gleefully murdering the man on the spot. Once FBI agents investigate, Light tricks one of them into killing the others, revealing himself to one agent to gloat and later forcing the man's fiancée into suicide, cruelly taunting her while doing so. Later, to eliminate his chief pursuer and rival [[Characters/DeathNoteLLawliet L Lawliet]], Light pulls a MemoryGambit where he has the Death Note given to a man he knows will misuse it and pulls off a scheme that kills multiple people, including L. After L's death, Light reduces the global crime rate through sheer volume of murders, with a body count stated to be worse than any genocide. Not even lovers or family members are immune, as Light uses one of his two girlfriends as bait for another rival and forces her to burn herself to death, also eliminating any evidence along with her and contemplates murdering his own sister the moment she becomes a liability. When exposed, Light attempts to justify himself as well-intentioned, but is revealed as "[[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist nothing more]] than a crazy SerialKiller''.

* ''Manga/DogsBulletsAndCarnage'': [[MadScientist Angelika Einstürzen]] specialized in human experimentation, starting on her test subjects [[WouldHurtAChild when they're young children]]. Chronologically, the first thing we see her do is tell Heine, a member of one test group, that if he took part in an extremely dangerous experiment, he'd save all of his friends from the same fate. Once it was clear that the experiment was a success, she [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness no longer needed the rest of the test group]] and had them go berserk and murder each other, while she [[ForcedToWatch forced Heine to watch]]. Next, she sends a large number of her old test subjects to invade the UndergroundCity and slaughter as many people as they could before she blew her soldiers up. She didn't even do this because she had something against the people she had killed. She just wanted to get rid of her old, defective test subjects, while also getting the attention of the mayor, who resided on the surface. She figured the easiest way to kill two birds with one stone was to blow her men up and [[LackOfEmpathy take hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilians with them]]. Afterwards, she sends [[HiveMind one of her many bodies]] to one of the districts hit hardest by her attack and tells the people there that their friends and family, who had been kidnapped long ago, were among the attackers that the people had killed, just to see how horrified they would be. She also [[ElectricTorture shocked]] one of a pair of young twin sisters who understandably didn't want to go back to her for more brainwashing and MindRape. She does all all of this either for [[ForScience scientific research]] or just for [[ForTheEvulz fun]].

** "A Lonely War": UsefulNotes/MuammarGaddafi himself, the dictator of Libya, is secretly working with Dr. Göppel, a nuclear scientist who wants to get back at the US for cancelling his research on nuclear weapons. When the two cause a plane, which Göppel is on, to make an emergency landing in Libya, Gaddafi takes the crew hostage. When Hiba and his friend Fudo go on a rescue operation, Gaddafi has all three hundred passengers massacred, including a father in front of his young son and [[ColdBloodedTorture tortures Hiba]] by carving a grid into his back and [[FlayingAlive ripping off chunks of his skin]]. Having worked with Dr. Göppel to design an ICBM hundreds of times stronger than the nuke, and Göppel having set off the weapon with his dying breath, Gaddafi plans to [[NukeEm nuke the entire West]]. When he and Hiba engage in a duel to the death, Gaddafi boasts of consuming the entire West in nuclear fire, not caring that he'll sentence his own people to death by retaliation in the process, as he can simply hide out from the retaliatory strikes in his nuclear bunker.

** "Digitalis" & "[[Recap/EdensZeroForestaArc Foresta]]" arcs: [[MadScientist Dr. Müller]] is a figure from Hermit's past who [[ManipulativeBastard manipulated her]] into activating the "Accelerator" under the pretense on saving Hook, a neighboring planet populated with androids. With the Accelerator being used to instead destroy Hook out of [[FantasticRacism a sense of human superiority]], Müller reveals his true colors to Hermit as he tortures and dismantles her for research and amusement. Making an escape from prison that resulted in the loss of his body, Müller crafted an O-Tech body for himself, using several humans as guinea pigs for his robotic experiments. Developing a grudge against the Rutherford family for withdrawing their funding from him, Müller [[WouldHurtAChild kidnapped the young Kleene and Jinn]] after murdering their parents, and sadistically [[ForcedToWatch forced Kleene to watch]] as he dismantled her brother to be given O-Tech implants. Later partnering with [[GalacticConqueror Ziggy]] in his plan to take down Foresta with a robot virus, Müller is given an unlimited supply of humans to experiment on as he guards the server containing the virus. Once Hermit and Weisz arrive to stop him, Müller tries to have all the humans on Foresta wiped out by the planet's robots, and later activates the [[DoomsdayDevice Doomsday System]] in an attempt to [[EarthShatteringKaboom destroy the entire planet]].

** The SerialKiller, [[TheChessmaster Gaku Yashiro]], is the intelligent and gleefully sadistic murderer driving the plot forward with his killings. His cruel tendencies arising as a [[EnfantTerrible child]] who alleviated his boredom by [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals drowning pets]] and luring young girls to his rapist older brother, the killer eventually murdered said older brother and [[{{Sadist}} gained a taste for killing]], primarily of [[WouldHurtAChild young children]]. As an adult carrying out his long-time fantasies of killing dozens of children and framing innocent people for the crimes, the killer [[DestinationDefenestration flings his fiancée out of a window]] when she becomes suspicious of his crimes, and stabs Sachiko Fujinima to death when she realizes his true identity. When Sachiko's time-traveling son Satoru tries to thwart his crimes in the past, the killer tries to drown Satoru before murdering his way into a political position solely to allow himself easier access to potential victims. In his final confrontation with Satoru, the killer tries to drown the man's close friend Kumi while [[ForcedToWatch forcing Satoru to watch]], before attempting to evade capture for his crimes by burning himself and Satoru alive, bragging even in defeat how he has done nothing morally wrong, merely indulged in a hobby he truly enjoyed.

** [[AxCrazy Isuzu Sawatari]], one of Isabella's teammates, is a charming, friendly and sweet woman whose life is "plagued by tragedy" on the surface. [[BitchInSheepsClothing Underneath this façade]] lies a sadistic sociopath whose MO for murder is to [[BlackWidow lure men into her bed]] to enrage their female super-soldier Pandora partners, so Isuzu can kill them in "accidents" or self defense when she is confronted by them. Having continued this practice with civilians, Isuzu is recruited to murder the scientist Gengo Aoi with three other Pandora criminals. Isuzu agrees to the mission in return for a guaranteed "license to kill", and shows her sadistic side by massacring multiple young Pandoras, and even kills one of her own teammates after crippling the other woman. Upon finding Gengo Aoi, whose bodyguard is her old rival Suna Yi, Isuzu provokes Suna into a fight by attempting to torture and [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape Gengo]] so she can finally slaughter Suna in a straight fight.

* ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'''s chapter 122--"To You, 2,000 Years Ago": [[SmallRoleBigImpact Fritz]], the first King of [[Characters/AttackOnTitanEldia Eldia]] and the mythical [[SatanicArchetype Devil of All Earth]], was a [[EvilOverlord cruel tyrant]] who ran an empire on conquest, with countless slaves endlessly abused out of their very sense of self, many having tongues removed. When the young slave Ymir was accused of freeing pigs, the King tried to have her [[HuntingTheMostDangerousGame hunted for sport]], whereupon she found the power of the Titan. Using her to exterminate and kill all in his path, the King raped her to produce children to inherit her power and upon her death, forced his daughters to eat her corpse raw, unleashing the new Titans on all his enemies to found an empire on genocide and blood.

* ''VideoGame/BlackRockShooter: The Game'': In the manga adaptation by TNSK, [[BigBad White★Rock Shooter]] is the catalyst of [[KillAllHumans mankind's extinction]]. [[VillainWithGoodPublicity Posing as an alien idol singer]], W★RS has herself cloned by a scientist named Gibson while her forces attack the Earth. Gibson makes a failed attempt to kill W★RS after finding out about her [[ImAHumanitarian appetite for her progeny]], prompting W★RS to call for the destruction of the human race. She proceeds to [[OffingTheOffspring kill all but two of the clones]] and beat one of the surviving clones, Nana, before falsely telling her that Gibson never loved any of them. Sensing that the remaining humans have found the final clone, Stella, W★RS orders her enforcers to kill them. She soon [[ResignationsNotAccepted kills two defectors]], along with their new human allies, and plots the destruction of the Earth just to spite a third defector. Afterwards, she forces another enforcer to kill Stella and Nana, promising her death [[YouHaveFailedMe should she fail]] or [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness succeed]]. Confronted by the two surviving clones, W★RS strips Nana, fakes her death, beats Stella to near-death, mutilates her arm, and taunts her by spitting out the apparent remains of Nana. As their fight nears its end, W★RS asks Stella to help her conquer another planet and crush its people's wishes so she can rule over them for the rest of time. [[LackOfEmpathy Cruel]] and [[ItsAllAboutMe self-centered]], [[BrightIsNotGood White★Rock Shooter]] would without hesitation or remorse kill anyone who she felt wronged her.

* ''Literature/AbsoluteDuo'': [[{{Jerkass}} Narukami Sakaki]] pretended to befriend [[NiceGuy Toru Kokonoe]] so as to gain entry into Toru's family sword-training dojo. Once inside, he casually murders everybody inside before setting the building on fire, while mocking his victims as "being weak." Next Sakaki turns his sword on Toru, which Toru only survives because his grievously wounded younger sister, Otoha, took the blow instead. Narukami then mocks the HeroicSacrifice by saying "how boring, all she did was die." Some time later, Narukami does something similar to a boy who would later be named "K," killing the latter's older brother before him resulting in his family being torn apart, and him being sold into a criminal organization that made him a combination slave/test subject/ChildSoldier, and when "K" wound up in prison after attacking Toru at Koryou Academy, Narukami teleported him out and sliced him in half, vertically, letting him live just long enough to tell him that his life was meaningless and his role in the story is over. When Toru returns home on a yearly pilgrimage to honor the dead, starting with his sister at the cemetery, he finds [[{{Troll}} Narukami]] waiting for him at the site of his former dojo, acting as if nothing's wrong, like he doesn't understand why Toru's angry. After trying to make Toru sound crazy for wanting to avenge his fallen loved ones, Narukami gets bored and slices Toru's shield in half--along with [[AnArmAndALeg the arm behind it]].

* ''LightNovel/BoogiepopSeries'': [[FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon Makiko Kisugi]], the Fear Ghoul, is a [[PsychoPsychologist psychiatrist]] and SerialKiller who terrorized the city five years before the pillar of light was created. Finding the evolution drug inside Nagi's room at the hospital, Kisugi tested it on rats and [[ProfessorGuineaPig herself]], gaining the ability to sense the fear in others. Discovering that she liked the taste of fear, Kisugi began scaring her patients in the worst conditions, and murdered five young, strong-willed girls by removing their brains while they were still alive, and stalked a sixth would-be victim, because "their souls taste better". Having manipulated Pigeon, Kisugi broke Mo Murder's spine and threw him off the hospital balcony, killing him. The anime explores even more of her crimes, as she had injected her patients, and her own pregnant friend with the drug, just [[ForScience to see what would happen]].

* ''LightNovel/DenpaTekiNaKanojo'' anime: Kiyoshi Kakura is a SerialKiller who has brutally beaten at least 13 people to death. Once a normal boy, Kiyoshi one day suddenly snapped and [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil raped his neighbor and sister figure Sakuya]], her [[DrivenToMadness mind breaking]] due to the horrible incident. After snapping once again later on and killing an innocent high school girl and bragging about it, he and [[StockholmSyndrome Sakuya]], who became obsessed with these deaths, began their killing spree during rainy nights, including the main character Juu's friend Fujishima. After being lured out by Sakuya through an anonymous text, Juu encounters Kiyoshi after his latest kill, where he claims his victims were all aliens and it's his duty to kill them all as a covert agent. After trying and failing to kill Juu, Kiyoshi was arrested for the killings and then killed himself while in prison.

* ''LightNovel/{{Durarara}}'': [[EvilTeacher Takashi Nasujima]] is a [[{{Ephebophile}} sexual predator]] known for sexually harassing his female students. His relationship with his student, Haruna Niekawa, is a notorious example, with his emotional and sexual abuse playing a large role in Haruna's [[ClingyJealousGirl deteriorating psyche]]. Transferred to Raira Academy, Nasujima would proceed to sexually harass Anri Sonohara, and when ordered to stop by Masiomi Kida, he would sneak into Anri's home, possibly to violate her. Severely injured by Shizuo Heiwajima after trying to mug him, Nasujima recovers and returns to Ikebukuro where he [[CarFu runs over Kyouhei Kadota with a car]]. Resisting Saika's control, Nasujima uses Haruna's father to lure her daughter to him before knocking them both out, where Nasujima plans to use Haruna's powers for his own purposes while stating his intentions to {{rape|IsASpecialKindOfEvil}} Haruna right in front of her father; he then has Haruna slash everyone within Ikebukuro so that he may control their minds and take over the city, uncaring if he gets many people hurt or killed. Nasujima would then attempt to murder Anri, nearly killing Mikado Ryuugamine in the process.

** [[BitchInSheepsClothing Rekka Hoshimiya]], the seemingly cheerful and upbeat Company 1 lieutenant, is in truth a [[AxCrazy deranged member]] of the [[Characters/FireForceWhiteClad White-Clad]] who has been turning countless of innocent people into Infernals; most of whom are [[WouldHurtAChild children]] whom Rekka was experimenting on to find a suitable host for the Pilot's Light. Rekka would manipulate his subordinate, Tamaki Kotatsu, into bringing him a group of children and a mother to a building where he incinerates the mother before injecting her son, Nataku, with an Infernal Bug; when Nataku becomes a suitable host for the Pilot's Light, Rekka decides to experiment on the rest of the children anyway and [[FrameUp frame]] Tamaki for his crimes. When Tamaki tries to stop Rekka, he attempts to beat her to death. After Shinra Kusakabe saves Tamaki and battles Rekka, a frustrated Rekka uses his powers to burn down the building to kill Shinra, Tamaki and the children.

* ''LightNovel/FullMetalPanic'' anime: These two [[AxCrazy psychotic]] members of the counterintelligence [[Characters/FullMetalPanicAmalgam Amalgam]] organization are a cut above for cruelty:

* ''[[Anime/MetalFightBeyblade Beyblade: Metal Saga]]'': [[FauxAffablyEvil Doji]], the leader of the [[Characters/MetalFightBeybladeDarkNebula Dark Nebula]], aims to sow darkness across the world. Invading Koma Village with Ryuga to steal the forbidden Beyblade, L-Drago, Doji seemingly causes Gingka's father to die. In the present, Doji forces Kyoya to work with him and puts him through a life-threatening training program so he can use him to defeat Gingka. Upon failure, Doji injures Kyoya and invites the heroes to challenge him at the Dark Nebula Castle, awakening Ryuga and L-Drago. Recruiting more Bladers into the Dark Nebula, Doji feeds their souls to L-Drago if [[YouHaveFailedMe they fail him]]. Doji opens [[NotJustATournament Battle Bladers]], allowing powerful Bladers to enter so L-Drago can absorb their power. Though Doji himself eventually suffers the same fate, he is revived along with everyone else killed by L-Drago and lays low until ''Metal Fury'', where he assembles the Nemesis Bladers and reveals his ultimate goal--to awaken [[DestroyerDeity Nemesis]]. Provoking Ryuga into the battle that would cause his death, Doji sadistically mocks him all throughout for having been his pawn, right up until his death.

** "Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story III--The Case of Masayoshi Sato": The unnamed [[{{Pyromaniac}} arsonist]] is a [[AxCrazy gleefully sadistic]] man who desires to "light up" Tokyo with flames. Starting several fires across the city, the arsonist also stabbed an innocent man to death. When witnessed starting another fire by the Detective Boys, the arsonist [[WouldHurtAChild tried to kill them]] with a smile on his face. Ultimately, the arsonist intends to blow up a fuel warehouse and burn the entire city down in a "beautiful carnival" of flames.

* ''Literature/TheAsteriskWar'' anime: [[PsychoForHire Gustave Malraux]] is a former member of a terrorist organization of Asterisk that in the past carried out the "Jade Twilight" plan. Hired by Nicolas Enfield to stop his daughter, Claudia, from participating in a tournament known as Gryps Festa, Gustave wasted no time attacking Claudia's best friends, Ayato and Julis, with his chimera when they visited the capital city of Julis's home country, Lieseltania, resulting in Julis tighten up the security. Returning in Episode 24, Gustave sends his chimera to attack the capital city in order to distract the police forces, and plans to [[WouldHurtAChild attack the orphanage]] in order to lure the heroes out. After he successfully lures them out, he then attacks them with his hydra, leaving the hydra to cause destruction in the poor district of Lieseltania's capital city.

* ''Anime/BlueReflectionRay'': Shino Mizusaki's [[EvilMatriarch mother]] was the leader of the Saint Inés Religion and {{abusive|Parents}} to both Shino and her twin sister Kano. She used them as the figurehead of her movement to [[TheSocialDarwinist eliminate the weak people of society]]--the sick, poor, elderly, and uneducated. However, she forced Kano to be Shino, denying her a sense of self and beating her whenever she acknowledged herself as an individual. Whenever Shino made a mistake, [[IWillPunishYourFriendForYourFailure she would beat Kano in her place]], saying that her mistakes are why her sister is suffering. Eventually, this culminated in her performing a ritual to make Shino a true god by draining Kano's blood and force-feeding it to Shino. After L's death, Light reduces the global crime rate through sheer volume of murders, with a body count stated to be worse than any genocide. Not even lovers or family members are immune, as Light uses one of his two girlfriends as bait for another rival and forces her to burn herself to death, also eliminating any evidence along with her and contemplates murdering his own sister the moment she becomes a liability. When exposed, Light attempts to justify himself as well-intentioned, but is revealed as "[[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist nothing more]] than a crazy SerialKiller''.

* ''Manga/DogsBulletsAndCarnage'': [[MadScientist Angelika Einstürzen]] specialized in human experimentation, starting on her test subjects [[WouldHurtAChild when they're young children]]. Chronologically, the first thing we see her do is tell Heine, a member of one test group, that if he took part in an extremely dangerous experiment, he'd save all of his friends from the same fate. Once it was clear that the experiment was a success, she [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness no longer needed the rest of the test group]] and had them go berserk and murder each other, while she [[ForcedToWatch forced Heine to watch]]. Next, she sends a large number of her old test subjects to invade the UndergroundCity and slaughter as many people as they could before she blew her soldiers up. She didn't even do this because she had something against the people she had killed. She just wanted to get rid of her old, defective test subjects, while also getting the attention of the mayor, who resided on the surface. She figured the easiest way to kill two birds with one stone was to blow her men up and [[LackOfEmpathy take hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilians with them]]. Afterwards, she sends [[HiveMind one of her many bodies]] to one of the districts hit hardest by her attack and tells the people there that their friends and family, who had been kidnapped long ago, were among the attackers that the people had killed, just to see how horrified they would be. She also [[ElectricTorture shocked]] one of a pair of young twin sisters who understandably didn't want to go back to her for more brainwashing and MindRape. She does all all of this either for [[ForScience scientific research]] or just for [[ForTheEvulz fun]].

** "A Lonely War": UsefulNotes/MuammarGaddafi himself, the dictator of Libya, is secretly working with Dr. Göppel, a nuclear scientist who wants to get back at the US for cancelling his research on nuclear weapons. When the two cause a plane, which Göppel is on, to make an emergency landing in Libya, Gaddafi takes the crew hostage. When Hiba and his friend Fudo go on a rescue operation, Gaddafi has all three hundred passengers massacred, including a father in front of his young son and [[ColdBloodedTorture tortures Hiba]] by carving a grid into his back and [[FlayingAlive ripping off chunks of his skin]]. Having worked with Dr. Göppel to design an ICBM hundreds of times stronger than the nuke, and Göppel having set off the weapon with his dying breath, Gaddafi plans to [[NukeEm nuke the entire West]]. When he and Hiba engage in a duel to the death, Gaddafi boasts of consuming the entire West in nuclear fire, not caring that he'll sentence his own people to death by retaliation in the process, as he can simply hide out from the retaliatory strikes in his nuclear bunker.

** "Digitalis" & "[[Recap/EdensZeroForestaArc Foresta]]" arcs: [[MadScientist Dr. Müller]] is a figure from Hermit's past who [[ManipulativeBastard manipulated her]] into activating the "Accelerator" under the pretense on saving Hook, a neighboring planet populated with androids. With the Accelerator being used to instead destroy Hook out of [[FantasticRacism a sense of human superiority]], Müller reveals his true colors to Hermit as he tortures and dismantles her for research and amusement. Making an escape from prison that resulted in the loss of his body, Müller crafted an O-Tech body for himself, using several humans as guinea pigs for his robotic experiments. Developing a grudge against the Rutherford family for withdrawing their funding from him, Müller [[WouldHurtAChild kidnapped the young Kleene and Jinn]] after murdering their parents, and sadistically [[ForcedToWatch forced Kleene to watch]] as he dismantled her brother to be given O-Tech implants. Later partnering with [[GalacticConqueror Ziggy]] in his plan to take down Foresta with a robot virus, Müller is given an unlimited supply of humans to experiment on as he guards the server containing the virus. Once Hermit and Weisz arrive to stop him, Müller tries to have all the humans on Foresta wiped out by the planet's robots, and later activates the [[DoomsdayDevice Doomsday System]] in an attempt to [[EarthShatteringKaboom destroy the entire planet]].

** The SerialKiller, [[TheChessmaster Gaku Yashiro]], is the intelligent and gleefully sadistic murderer driving the plot forward with his killings. His cruel tendencies arising as a [[EnfantTerrible child]] who alleviated his boredom by [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals drowning pets]] and luring young girls to his rapist older brother, the killer eventually murdered said older brother and [[{{Sadist}} gained a taste for killing]], primarily of [[WouldHurtAChild young children]]. As an adult carrying out his long-time fantasies of killing dozens of children and framing innocent people for the crimes, the killer [[DestinationDefenestration flings his fiancée out of a window]] when she becomes suspicious of his crimes, and stabs Sachiko Fujinima to death when she realizes his true identity. When Sachiko's time-traveling son Satoru tries to thwart his crimes in the past, the killer tries to drown Satoru before murdering his way into a political position solely to allow himself easier access to potential victims. In his final confrontation with Satoru, the killer tries to drown the man's close friend Kumi while [[ForcedToWatch forcing Satoru to watch]], before attempting to evade capture for his crimes by burning himself and Satoru alive, bragging even in defeat how he has done nothing morally wrong, merely indulged in a hobby he truly enjoyed.

** [[AxCrazy Isuzu Sawatari]], one of Isabella's teammates, is a charming, friendly and sweet woman whose life is "plagued by tragedy" on the surface. [[BitchInSheepsClothing Underneath this façade]] lies a sadistic sociopath whose MO for murder is to [[BlackWidow lure men into her bed]] to enrage their female super-soldier Pandora partners, so Isuzu can kill them in "accidents" or self defense when she is confronted by them. Having continued this practice with civilians, Isuzu is recruited to murder the scientist Gengo Aoi with three other Pandora criminals. Isuzu agrees to the mission in return for a guaranteed "license to kill", and shows her sadistic side by massacring multiple young Pandoras, and even kills one of her own teammates after crippling the other woman. Upon finding Gengo Aoi, whose bodyguard is her old rival Suna Yi, Isuzu provokes Suna into a fight by attempting to torture and [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape Gengo]] so she can finally slaughter Suna in a straight fight.

* ''Manga/FrankenFran'''s "Eternal Youth" (chapter 15): [[EvilCripple Shidou Miyako]], one of Fran's employers, was a vain [[MadScientist scientist]] who [[ImmortalityImmorality sought out eternal youth]]. In the pursuit of said eternal youth, she was shown to be very intolerant towards any doctor who failed her, and would punish them by [[OffWithHisHead decapitation]] and would steal their research on top of that for the sake of [[{{Greed}} turning profits]]. Even when Fran successfully reversed the aging process, Shidou still refused to pay her and had her assassin decapitate her. Not just monstrous to the doctors she hired, she also had a thing for slaughtering clones of herself for the sake of drinking the juice from their eggs, killing 52 in this manner.

* ''Manga/TwentiethCenturyBoys'': Both versions of [[BigBad Friend]] were absolute monsters of different varieties.
** The first Friend--[[DarkMessiah Fukubei Hattori]]-- grew up ignored by his classmates, with their attention often focused on hero Kenji Endō. Thus, Fukubei developed a [[AttentionWhore craving for attention]], and a [[DisproportionateRetribution disproportionate hatred for Kenji]]. Already [[KidsAreCruel wicked as a child]], Fukubei psychologically abused his so-called "best friends," regularly tried to terrify people with his tricks, and ruined the childhood of one of his classmates--who would later become the second Friend thanks in part to the Fukubei's cruelty. Forming the "[[{{Cult}} Friendship Party]]" as an adult, Fukubei began developing a virus that painfully killed anyone it infected, all while silencing anyone who got his way. Unleashing the virus, Fukubei framed Kenji and his group for the ensuing 150,000 deaths, took over much of the world as a "hero", and ruled it with an iron fist, sending people to reeducation camps for even minor crimes. Fukubei's master plan is then revealed: Use a new virus to wipe out 99% of the human race, then rule over the remaining 1% of "true believers". Sociopathic, egomanical, and petty, Fukubei Hattori set the bar for wickedness in this manga.
** The second Friend--[[FromNobodyToNightmare Katsumata]]--[[StartOfDarkness grew up unliked and bullied]], in particular by Fukubei, and this resulted in [[StrawNihilist a hatred for all humanity]]. Taking over after Fukubei's death, Katsumata destroys much of human civilization with a new virus and rules what's left even harsher than Fukubei, spreading tales of "aliens" invading to keep innocents terrified in the process. To further cause chaos, Katsumata regularly sends out small doses of vaccines to groups of potential rebels, knowing they will tear themselves apart trying to acquire the antidote. Revealing he plans to [[OmnicidalManiac destroy all of humanity with an incurable virus]], Katsumata tries to [[ForcedToWatch make Kenji watch]] as he kills Kenji's niece, Kanna--Kanna's mother is Kenji's sister, while her father is Fukubei--as revenge for a transgression Kenji committed against him as a child, and, when finally defeated, it is revealed he left an Anti-Proton bomb to be detonated by his followers, which will destroy the entire world when activated.

* ''Literature/{{Babylon}}'': [[LivingAphrodisiac Ai Magase]], a [[TheVamp wicked temptress]] and the [[Literature/BookOfRevelation biblical Whore of Babylon]], uses [[CompellingVoice her voice alone]] to bend her victims to her will. Later hired by Kaiku Itsuki to push the suicide law, Magase kills Shin Inaba when he was conducting research in the "Nyux" drug, and Fumio Atsuhiko when he went to investigate. After driving over sixty people to suicide, Magase dwindles down the number of Zen Seizaki's team, and kidnaps Hiasa Sekuro so she could film her grisly murder to further torment Seizaki. Setting her sights on US President Alexander W. Wood, Magase [[PsychicAssistedSuicide corrupts his mind in a bid of making him jump off a roof to legitimize the suicide law]].

* ''LightNovel/AntiMagicAcademyThe35thTestPlatoon'': [[AxCrazy Haunted]] is a monstrous psychopath obsessed with [[CardCarryingVillain spreading despair to all around him]], and serves as the ArchEnemy of numerous characters due to his evil. A truly depraved lunatic who horrified and repulsed even his own organization and partners--many whom he kills at the drop of a hat--Haunted stands out even in this dark world as a twisted individual.

Seemingly dying by falling off the roof--with his bomb having been defused--Zelada eventually reveals himself to still be alive, having arranged the [[ConspicuouslyPublicAssassination assassination of two mayoral candidates]] in order to increase tensions between humans and Semanians. Capturing Kei and Tilarna, and killing a reporter who met up with them, Zelada claims to be acting in the best interest of the Semanians, but is called out for his cultural posturing and xenophobia by Tilarna before Kei shows up to confront him.
** [[NouveauRiche Dennis Elbaji]] is the head of a "[[FantasticDrug fairy dust]]" manufacturing ring who [[VillainWithGoodPublicity hides behind his role]] as a nightclub owner, having [[SuperhumanTrafficking abducted over a hundred fairies to manufacture his product]] for his own personal gain. Introduced having the sorcerer Zelada test a fairy dust bomb on police officers, Elbaji makes Zelada toy with the corpses before having one corpse shoot both. Confronted by Tilarna in his nightclub after harassing her, Elbaji tries to have her shot once he realizes she is on a rescue mission. Subsequently defeating her in a sword fight, Elbaji takes Tilarna prisoner, professing to worship money on the drive to his facility. Later [[FieryCoverup setting his facility ablaze]], Elbaji makes a callous quip about how much the fire will cost him when he encounters Tilarna again. Defeated in a final duel thanks to Kei's intervention, Elbaji defiantly curses Tilarna out.

* ''Manga/DeathNote'': [[Characters/DeathNoteLightYagami Light Yagami]] is a brilliant, [[ItsAllAboutMe egotistical]] student who finds the titular [[DeadlyBook Death Note]] and soon embarks on a quest to [[AGodAmI become the God of a "perfect" world he will create]]. After killing multiple criminals with the Note, Light flies into a rage when a man denounces his public name of "Kira" on TV, gleefully murdering the man on the spot. Once FBI agents investigate, Light tricks one of them into killing the others, revealing himself to one agent to gloat and later forcing the man's fiancée into suicide, cruelly taunting her while doing so. Later, to eliminate his chief pursuer and rival [[Characters/DeathNoteLLawliet L Lawliet]], Light pulls a MemoryGambit where he has the Death Note given to a man he knows will misuse it and pulls off a scheme that kills multiple people, including L. After L's death, Light reduces the global crime rate through sheer volume of murders, with a body count stated to be worse than any genocide. Not even lovers or family members are immune, as Light uses one of his two girlfriends as bait for another rival and forces her to burn herself to death, also eliminating any evidence along with her and contemplates murdering his own sister the moment she becomes a liability. When exposed, Light attempts to justify himself as well-intentioned, but is revealed as "[[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist nothing more]] than a crazy SerialKiller''.

* ''Manga/DogsBulletsAndCarnage'': [[MadScientist Angelika Einstürzen]] specialized in human experimentation, starting on her test subjects [[WouldHurtAChild when they're young children]]. Chronologically, the first thing we see her do is tell Heine, a member of one test group, that if he took part in an extremely dangerous experiment, he'd save all of his friends from the same fate. Once it was clear that the experiment was a success, she [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness no longer needed the rest of the test group]] and had them go berserk and murder each other, while she [[ForcedToWatch forced Heine to watch]]. Next, she sends a large number of her old test subjects to invade the UndergroundCity and slaughter as many people as they could before she blew her soldiers up. She didn't even do this because she had something against the people she had killed. She just wanted to get rid of her old, defective test subjects, while also getting the attention of the mayor, who resided on the surface. She figured the easiest way to kill two birds with one stone was to blow her men up and [[LackOfEmpathy take hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilians with them]]. Afterwards, she sends [[HiveMind one of her many bodies]] to one of the districts hit hardest by her attack and tells the people there that their friends and family, who had been kidnapped long ago, were among the attackers that the people had killed, just to see how horrified they would be. She also [[ElectricTorture shocked]] one of a pair of young twin sisters who understandably didn't want to go back to her for more brainwashing and MindRape. She does all all of this either for [[ForScience scientific research]] or just for [[ForTheEvulz fun]].

** "A Lonely War": UsefulNotes/MuammarGaddafi himself, the dictator of Libya, is secretly working with Dr. Göppel, a nuclear scientist who wants to get back at the US for cancelling his research on nuclear weapons. When the two cause a plane, which Göppel is on, to make an emergency landing in Libya, Gaddafi takes the crew hostage. When Hiba and his friend Fudo go on a rescue operation, Gaddafi has all three hundred passengers massacred, including a father in front of his young son and [[ColdBloodedTorture tortures Hiba]] by carving a grid into his back and [[FlayingAlive ripping off chunks of his skin]]. Having worked with Dr. Göppel to design an ICBM hundreds of times stronger than the nuke, and Göppel having set off the weapon with his dying breath, Gaddafi plans to [[NukeEm nuke the entire West]]. When he and Hiba engage in a duel to the death, Gaddafi boasts of consuming the entire West in nuclear fire, not caring that he'll sentence his own people to death by retaliation in the process, as he can simply hide out from the retaliatory strikes in his nuclear bunker.

** "Digitalis" & "[[Recap/EdensZeroForestaArc Foresta]]" arcs: [[MadScientist Dr. Müller]] is a figure from Hermit's past who [[ManipulativeBastard manipulated her]] into activating the "Accelerator" under the pretense on saving Hook, a neighboring planet populated with androids. With the Accelerator being used to instead destroy Hook out of [[FantasticRacism a sense of human superiority]], Müller reveals his true colors to Hermit as he tortures and dismantles her for research and amusement. Making an escape from prison that resulted in the loss of his body, Müller crafted an O-Tech body for himself, using several humans as guinea pigs for his robotic experiments. Aizen also used Wonderweiss Margela as a tool, stripping him of his speech, intelligence, memory retention, and rationality in order to turn him into a PowerNullifier against one man's weapon. Once Wonderweiss had successfully absorbed the flames of this person's weapon, Aizen had arranged it so that Wonderweiss self-destructed, nearly taking out a city with him in the process. Finally, when Aizen had achieved {{Physical God}}hood, he tested out his abilities by calmly walking through a human city, knowing that his powers caused anyone who came into close proximity with him to blow up. In the end Aizen ended up killing over a dozen civilians, and planned on doing the same to [[Characters/BleachIchigoKurosaki Ichigo Kurosaki]]'s human friends just so he could mock Ichigo by hanging up their corpses on display.

A sickening scientist, who [[SmugSnake regards himself as the ultimate life form]], Granz takes pride in his unique brand of depravity, and regards everyone, including his late brother Ylfordt Granz, as beneath him, and, ultimately, disposable.

After the man informs Oiwa of the scheme, Oiwa is so mortified [[DrivenToSuicide she kills herself]], to which Iemon has no remorse. Iemon then murders his kidnapped servant even after he offers to not spill the truth in exchange for the medicine, in order to frame him as Oiwa's illicit lover, and has his infant son killed with them. Able to track Youichi's soul, Shrieker kills and devours anybody who tries to help Youichi, feeding off the psychological torment it causes, as much as the actual souls.

When he was human, Granz was an unhinged alchemist who performed torturous experiments on prisoners captured by his brother. A sadistic player of games, Granz creates {{voodoo doll}}s out of his victims, and then proceeds to torture them to death, rupturing one organ at a time, as he cheerfully does to Renji Abarai and Uryu Ishida. He's also the [[BadBoss worst boss]] of any of the Espada, modifying the bodies of his subordinates so that in a pinch he can convert them to raw energy and devour them with ease, using their lives to fuel his own. A sickening scientist, who [[SmugSnake regards himself as the ultimate life form]], Granz takes pride in his unique brand of depravity, and regards everyone, including his late brother Ylfordt Granz, as beneath him, and, ultimately, disposable.

Once Wonderweiss had successfully absorbed the flames of this person's weapon, Aizen had arranged it so that Wonderweiss self-destructed, nearly taking out a city with him in the process. Finally, when Aizen had achieved {{Physical God}}hood, he tested out his abilities by calmly walking through a human city, knowing that his powers caused anyone who came into close proximity with him to blow up. In the end Aizen ended up killing over a dozen civilians, and planned on doing the same to [[TheHero Ichigo Kurosaki's]] human friends just so he could mock Ichigo by hanging up their corpses on display.

Many years later, Ernst finds one of Yuri's children, Yukio, whom he persuades to his side. He then [[TheStarscream murders The Order's leadership]], [[KlingonPromotion becoming its new leader]], with his first command issuing all True Cross Academy students weapons forcing them to fight demons, despite many being inexperienced. He also tasks Yukio to bring him his brother [[Characters/BlueExorcistRinOkumura Rin Okumura]] saying he will spare Rin, only to [[ILied admit he lied]] once Yukio does this. Ernst proceeds to torture Rin, knowing it would open the [[HellGate Gate to Gehanna]] where he will drop his nuclear bomb, The Messiah, onto the world, destroying it and eradicating every last demon there. When Yukio [[HeroicSacrifice offers to take Rin's place]], Ernst allows it, but tries to kill Rin anyway. When Satan finally appears and foils Ernst's plans by revealing to Yukio what Ernst did to Yuri, he responds that [[IHaveNoSon Yuri was not his daughter]] for loving a demon and her children are just disgraces to him. Sacrificing all those he see, family members included, Ernst proves that [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters humans can become more evil than demons]].
** [[FourEyesZeroSoul Dr. Michael (Mihaeru) Gedouin]], the resident MadScientist of the Illuminati, spends the entirety of the Izumo Rescue Arc proving himself to be the most [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]] [[{{jerkass}} and utterly depraved]] villain in that story arc. In flashbacks, he and his team abduct Izumo, her sister Tsukumo, and her mother to use as subjects in his research on the elixir of immortality. He subjects their mother to horrific experiments that reduced her to a broken, bloody shell of a person, while threatening to use Tsukumo (who was [[WouldHurtAChild two years old]] at the time) next if Izumo did not follow his demands. When the heroes storm his laboratory, they discover that he has been brainwashing people who visit the town near the lab and using them as disposable fodder for his experiments, turning them into shambling, [[AndIMustScream semi-conscious]] [[FateWorseThanDeath zombies]]. When called out on his atrocities, he [[InsaneTrollLogic actually employs]] a HumansAreTheRealMonsters argument to defend himself, considering himself to be above the people he uses as guinea pigs. Further, it is repeatedly show that his only motivation for his evil is to earn approval from Lucifer. An [[PsychopathicManchild immature]], [[ItsAllAboutMe self-centered]] bastard who [[{{Sadist}} relishes the suffering]] of others, Gedouin stands head and shoulders above most previous villains in terms of monstrosity, with his actions [[EvenEvilHasStandards even disgusting Lucifer]].

** The unnamed {{warden|s Are Evil}} of this manga's second arc in the series is a cruel, sadistic woman who appears oddly youthful. Running her prison with an iron fist, it is soon revealed the reason for her youth is that she drinks the blood of beautiful woman whom she tortures to death. When the heroine, police officer Mika Hino, is captured by her after instigating a riot, the warden has her men fire into the crowd, [[BadBoss not caring if her own guards are killed]], and subjects the surviving women to [[ColdBloodedTorture torture]] by stripping them nude and forcing them to stand in place through the hot sun or freezing rain until they collapse. Mika herself is taken to the warden's torture chamber and subjected to torture, with the warden throwing vinegar on her wounds to wake her should she pass out. The warden then has her attendant try to rape Mika, who gets the better of him and escapes. Her response is to furiously execute the man and promptly demand the guards recapture Mika. Responsible for turning her prison into a {{hell|hole Prison}} on Earth, the warden lived for two things alone: to remain [[ImmortalityImmorality beautiful and young]], but primarily to cause pain to others.
** ''The Savage Chimney Island'' Arc: The unnamed [[DirtyCop police officer]], known as "The Shadow Man", who rules the titular island, has enslaved the villagers and the island with violence and threats. Seeking to mine gold from below the island, the Shadow Man has men and women kidnapped, abusing them horribly, but allows the men to have "play time" where they can rob and pillage around the island at will. Any who try to escape are murdered, with four victims washing up near the mainland, Mika barely evading sexual assault at the hands of the Shadow Man's men when she arrives on Chimney Island. She soon sees the abused, mistreated slaves, with the Shadow Man indicating he plans to dispose of all of them when [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness they serve their purpose]].

** "[[Recap/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaibaMugenTrainArc Mugen Train Arc]]": [[SoftSpokenSadist Enmu]] is Lower Rank 1 and a suffering-addicted psychopath. As a human, Enmu claimed to be a doctor, falsely "curing" the dying for his own profit and prestige until being made into a demon by Muzan. [[PsychoSupporter Insanely worshipful of Muzan]], Enmu swiftly kills to climb the ranks of the demons and even survives Muzan's purge of the Lower Ranks by impressing his master with his love of pain and death. Empowered and sent after Tanjiro, Enmu uses [[ForcedSleep his powers over dream and sleep]] to put Tanjiro and his friends into pleasant dreams while tricking humans into entering their dreams to [[MindRape destroy their minds]]. Enmu promises to give train passengers kind dreams, but delights in twisting their dreams into horrific nightmares, and when cornered by Tanjiro opts to fuse with the train itself and try to devour all 200 passengers, gloating how he means to torment his victims before [[ToServeMan he eats them]] to further empower himself.
** "[[Recap/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaibaSwordsmithVillageArc Swordsmith Village Arc]]": [[MadArtist Gyokko]] is Upper Rank 5 and an insane artist who creates new pieces with his victims. Upon being sent to the swordsmith village, Gyokko decides to kill everyone in the village after murdering several smiths and taking others to fuse them into a macabre, [[AndIMustScream living]] sculpture that he tortures by sticking swords through them, gleefully describing how he plans to replicate it on a grander scale with the village innocents. A complete [[AttentionWhore narcissist]], when Gyokko finds a smith more dedicated to his work than to noticing him, Gyokko opts to begin torturing him to try to break his concentration.
** "[[Recap/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaibaSunriseCountdownArc Sunrise Countdown Arc]]"'s Chapter 188 ("Sorrowful Love"): The unnamed [[SnakesAreSinister snake demon]] in Obanai Iguro's past was a low-level demon with a [[ChildEater hunger for children]]. Bargaining with Obanai's family, the demon would murder people to allow the all-female bandits to live off the stolen wealth in return for them providing the demon with newborn babies on a steady stream to consume. Upon Obanai's birth, the demon had him raised and prepared as a meal, as he was the only boy and had alluringly unusual eyes. Having Obanai's face mutilated to resemble her more, the demon massacred all but one of Obanai's family upon his escape before closing in on him to eat him as well.

** ''Guilst'' (aka "Planet Guilst Assault") arc: [[FatBastard Illega]] is a bloated [[FrogMen frog]] alien who pays criminals to kidnap and bring him women, who he [[TakenForGranite turns into stone statues]] to be used as furniture. Once Rebecca uncovers his room containing hundreds of stone women, Illega arrives holding [[WouldHurtAChild Copa]] at gunpoint, promising to release her should Rebecca [[KneelBeforeZod kneel before him]] and become his toy forever. When news of the planet destroying Chronophage arrives, Illega plans to start his collection again on another planet.
** ''Digitalis'' (aka "Hermit") arc: [[TheCracker Spider]] goes by the name [[TheDreaded Jamilov]] in the Digitalis RPG ''Rogue Fantasia''. Cheating to give himself an advantage, Jamilov wanders through the fantasy computer world, [[AxCrazy slaughtering the living NPCs for fun]], while taking a special joy in murdering player characters so he can also kill them in the real world, exterminating entire towns. Making an escape from prison that resulted in the loss of his body, Müller crafted an O-Tech body for himself, using several humans as guinea pigs for his robotic experiments. Developing a grudge against the Rutherford family for withdrawing their funding from him, Müller [[WouldHurtAChild kidnapped the young Kleene and Jinn]] after murdering their parents, and sadistically [[ForcedToWatch forced Kleene to watch]] as he dismantled her brother to be given O-Tech implants. Later partnering with [[GalacticConqueror Ziggy]] in his plan to take down Foresta with a robot virus, Müller is given an unlimited supply of humans to experiment on as he guards the server containing the virus. Once Hermit and Weisz arrive to stop him, Müller tries to have all the humans on Foresta wiped out by the planet's robots, and later activates the [[DoomsdayDevice Doomsday System]] in an attempt to [[EarthShatteringKaboom destroy the entire planet]].
** ''Sun Jewel'' arc: [[AGodAmI Kurenai Kogetsu, aka Madam Kurenai]], was a slave freed by the heroine Valkyrie. [[ParentalNeglect Rather than return to her lost daughter Homura]], Kurenai married the slaver Baron Mordo and murdered him to [[PlanetBaron take over the planet Sun Jewel]]. [[TheCaligula Running the world as a horrific tyrant]], Kurenai uses an orbital cannon to vaporize anyone who defies her and amuses herself via sadistic games such as burning a model's face off and using him as a broken pet.
