** A couple of chapters later, Kiri complains to his friends because since then they've been acting "lovey-dovey" and he admits (to himself anyway) that the sight of his mom in her underwear was disturbing. His friends are no help, with one even openly fantasizing about Tsuki.

* OutclassedAtTheGym: One chapter/episode follows Hana's younger brother Kiri, who tries to invoke this when he goes to the gym where his dad works and sees it's full of old people and tries to show off in front of them. He ends up on the receiving end when he gets outclassed by a muscular older man doing bench press, and an old lady on the treadmill. The worst part comes when he tries to "challenge" Sakurai, who doesn't even notice, to a swimming race at the pool and gets overtaken him no less than six times.

* TheirFirstTime: [[spoiler:After they start dating]], Uzaki and Sakurai have a discussion about things they'd like to do [[spoiler:now that they're a couple]]. Sakurai points out that a lot of things they were doing before [[spoiler:were already pretty date-like]], and Uzaki starts tossing out ideas they couldn't do beforehand. When she suggests going camping or visiting a hot springs inn, Sakurai suddenly realises that that meant they'd be spending the night together alone and starts blushing at the implication. Uzaki at first is confused by his awkwardness until she comes to the same realization, leading to her bashfully letting him know that, well, if the mood were right and things happened, they ''are'' both consenting adults. The pair spend the entire day making love, with Hana afterwards comically chastising Sakurai for continuing on after she was already exhausted.]]

* WhamEpisode: Chapter 100, appropriately enough. [[spoiler:Uzaki asks if Shinichi prefers smaller boobs, and offers him to grope hers. To his credit, Shinichi does not faint as usual, but it also awakens something in him, shown as chains breaking off a dark silhouette...]]

* EatingTheEyeCandy: Although she doesn't actually have feelings for Sakurai, Ami is guilty of constantly lusting over his body, something Sakaki hilariously calls her out on. She even tries to trick Sakurai to wait at their cafe while only wearing skimpy shorts.

** Sakurai visiting Uzaki's home and locking his sight on one of their cats - which is lying on Uzaki's mother's lap. He then spews things like he'd like to get closer and pet it, all the while Uzaki's mom thinks he's talking about her.

* CastingGag: In the Japanese version, Creator/YosukeAkimoto plays the café owner Akihiko Asai, a.k.a. Ami's dad, a CoolOldGuy with silver-gray hair and a PornStache. And at times he has LargeHam tendencies, much like [[Anime/MobileFighterGGundam Master Asia]]. His café is even named "Asia".

* ThatCameOutWrong: To try and make Uzaki jealous, Sakaki accuses Ami in front of her of always giving lewd looks to Sakurai due to his fit body. Ami tries to defend herself that she finds him desirable, but not in a romantic sense, and ends up blurting out "I'm only interested in his body!". It takes her about three seconds to realize how wrong that sounds and the implications.

** The end of Chapter 100 shows [[some chains breaking off a dark silhouette representing a part of Shinichi's subconscious.]] Chapter 101 reveals that this entity is [[spoiler:Shinichi's 'perviest desires' and encourages him to break more of said chains.]]

* NoCommunitiesWereHarmed: The unnamed town where most of the events takes is heavily based on the city of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture. Characters are often depicted walking the pedestrian bridges in front of Sendai Station, for one.

* ShipTease: Ami and Sasaki are VitriolicBestBuds most of the time, but they get a bit of this in Chapter 88. During Valentine's Day, Ami gives Sasaki a gift bag of chocolate as part of the cafe's customer service, but she also gives him an extra box as a way of thanking him for helping her out. Sasaki spends a couple of panels looking at the box with a contemplative expression on his face, and decides he'd better not let [[CrazyJealousGuy Sasamoto]] know about it.

** Ami berates Sakaki when they first met because she thinks that he's meddling with their relationship for shits and giggles, and it's not until later that she realizes that his intentions are pure.
** When Sasaki of all people has had enough with Uzaki's dishonesty and ego, he threatens her with an ultimatum: if she can't acknowledge her feelings for Sakurai soon, he will sabotage their relationship and break them up permanently.

** Both Uzaki and Sakurai are given to deny their closeness and the possibility of becoming an item to their friends and classmates. Problem is, they're fooling no one. In one instance, Sasaki even threatens to interfere and ruin her relationship with Sakurai for good if she keeps letting her pride get in the way of recognising her feelings, and warns her that he is perfectly capable of doing so.
