Removing trope misuse; Berserk Button is for comedic overreactions to minor slights. It's not for things people can legitimately get angry over, especially when played for drama.

* BerserkButton:
** Break, normally ObfuscatingInsanity, gets very serious very quickly if one of the few people close to him is in danger. Namely, Sharon and Reim.
** Try hurting or even insulting Oz Vessalius in front of Gilbert Nightray. ''We dare you.''
** If Vincent thinks Gilbert is in danger, even if there's absolutely no proof he'll actually get hurt, he ''does not'' just sit around...
** Saying Jack's name around Intention of the Abyss induces this, too, depending on the situation. Also, [[DisproportionateRetribution don't interrupt her when she is talking.]] [[spoiler: [[FamilyUnfriendlyDeath The White Knight found out the hard way...]] ]]
** Before his CharacterDevelopment allows him to grow out of this, hurting Alice or making her sad will provoke [[spoiler:Oz]] in the worst of ways.

Sorry for reverting my previous edits immediately, I forgot that writing the title without the space currently creates red links on here. I will wait to see if the custom title gets accepted before taking further action.

The official English translations actually have the title as one word rather than what it is most commonly written as: "Pandora Hearts" (with a space in the middle). I brought this up in ATT, where I was advised to submit a custom title and fix references to the title on the page. If someone finds a better reason to revert these edits, please do so, I can see this causing some debate.

Ironically, if they had remembered their past from the start, they would have known Jack was averted, as the two last person they should have gone to for answers.

* ChildhoodFriends: Oz and Gilbert have been best friends since they were kids, although Gilbert thought he shouldn't get so familiar with his master.

* ForgottenFirstMeeting: The main trio had already met at different points before the Tragedy of Sablier, but they all got cases of amnesia and only discovered how they were associated until much later.

Added DiffLines:

* MistressAndServantBoy:
** Alice completely dominates Oz and calls him her property. Oz does next to nothing to combat this and only wants to keep Alice pleased. This is an extension of their original relationship in which Oz was Alice's stuffed rabbit and the wish that gave him a consciousness was to make Alice happy.
** Oz and Gilbert are a same-sex version. Gilbert was made into Oz's manservant at a young age and he sworn unquestionable loyalty to Oz. Even though Gilbert got himself adopted into the Nightray Dukedom, Oz stills asks Gilbert to serve him and Gilbert faithfully does so.

Added DiffLines:

* WithAFriendAndAStranger: At the beginning of the series, Oz and Gilbert already share a devoted friendship of five years. On the other hand, Oz and Alice first meet in the second chapter, although they sense they have met somewhere before. Turns out Oz did know Alice way before he ever met Gilbert; they just had forgotten it.
