This series, more than anything else, is about reminding modern readers just how awesome the original characters were, without needing a revision.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: On his blog, the author said that he was denied permission to use ''[[Series/KamenRiderBlack Black]]'' and ''[[Series/KamenRiderBlackRX RX]]'' in the story, but did a few sketches of Kotaro for fun.

Takes place in the present day (to the extent possible). It begins with Taki Kazuya (still an FBI agent) in New York City investigating a series of grisly vampire-like murders. As it is clear he can't rely on the Riders for help (Hongo Takeshi tends to appear and disappear like the wind), he has built his own Rider Suit, homaging SkullMan and informally known as "Taki-Rider". Taki is more than man enough to take on the Mooks, but when the man behind the plot shows up... so does Hongo and his ScarfOfAsskicking.

* Ths manga has a habit of inducing these. Standouts include Hongo's DynamicEntry, Rider 2's first crowning moments of awesome, and Stronger repeating his badass creed before showing BADAM who's boss.

* AdaptationalAttractiveness: The characters aren't usually drawn as realistic renditions of the actors but are stylized to match the art style. Thus, this tends to occur.

* BeyondTheImpossible: We get to see the individual Riders face off with individual members of Badan earlier on, and then start taking on veritable armies of their (revived) [[MonsterOfTheWeek monsters of the week]] - at which point this trope kicks into high gear.

* AdaptationalBadass: The Riders were already very badass, but the manga [[UpToEleven took it even further]] by making all of them are capable of performing stunts that would make {{Superman}} jealous.

* AssPull: Lampshaded hilariously when Skyrider and Stronger show up at Badan's aerial base. Skyrider can clearly fly, but Stronger apparently just kicked his way in.

* CompleteMonster: Spideroid.
* CrowningMomentOfAwesome: The first chapter alone has three of them. The most famous ones are from Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider #2 introduction story:

** Super-1 standing straight on the nose of a space shuttle going through re-entry, and using nearly all of his hands to make sure that the shuttle doesn't explode. During re-entry.
** Later, Kamen Rider X loses his arm during a fight in the ocean. Riderman attaches an arm that X Rider assumes is a nearly perfect copy... Until Riderman reveals that Amazon searched the ocean floor for the original and brought it back because "Keisuke's father built that arm for him."

* MemeticMutation: Ichimonji's CrowningMomentOfAwesome (see above) went through a brief vogue where other Riders were Photoshopped in his place, such as [[KamenRiderKabuto Kabuto]] ("[[WhatWouldXDo Because Grandma said so.]]")
