Another take on the character, often more common in BaraGenre or fusions between yaoi and bara, is the {{Ojou}} uke - a princess/prince/royalty/other character of wealth and power outside of the bedroom that is the sexually submissive partner in it and who is often known for the "topping from the bottom" and [[DramaQueen diva]] approach.

Miharu has the appropriate physical qualities plus being withdraw with a lot of angst; Yoite is similarly delicate, withdrawn, and troubled. Yoite generally gets labelled as the {{seme}} because he's older than Miharu, a bit taller, and more violent, but on his own he's a textbook uke (and if their relationship were ever to move into sexual territory, Miharu would almost certainly be the initiator).

* Yukito of ''Manga/CardCaptorSakura'' and ''Manga/TsubasaReservoirChronicle'' fame is the {{Uke}} to Touya Kinomoto.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Ben 10}}'' slash fanfictions and fanarts typically have Ben being the Uke while Kevin assume the {{Seme}} role. It sure doesn't help that Kevin is taller than Ben and has a typical bad boy attitude, while Ben have become quite of a {{Bishonen}} after becoming a teenager in ''Alien Force''. Of course, in canon, the two of them started out as [[ArchEnemy Arch-Enemies]], and while they are now best friends, they both have girlfriends to prove they are straight (and of course, both of those girlfriends [[DieForOurShip get a lot of hate]] from the yaoi and yuri fans because of that).

* In a strange turn of events in ''{{Conan}}'', Conan and Andy Richter end up slowdancing (imitating the inauguration dance of the Obamas) while LaBamba sings a song behind them. The lyrics end with ''They'll probably get married and adopt a baby / Andy's the man and Conan's the lady.'' Andy pumps his fists while Conan protests, demanding to know why he's the lady, but eventually just throws his hands and says "Alright, I'm the lady."

{{Shonen}} fandom has popularized another type where TheMessiah functions as the uke, at least physically, where his sheer niceness and adorableness wins over other characters.

* Allen from ''Manga/DGrayMan'' is the {{Shonen}} fandom [[TheMessiah Messiah]] type. Being the shortest male in the main cast doesn't help his case. He's also ''very'' scrawny, and has a pretty baby face. Funny thing is how, even when paired with the women in fandom, a lot of cases still have ''him'' being the submissive one. Poor Allen doesn't get many chances to wear the pants in relationships.

** Then we are introduced to Enma Kozato someone who is [[UpToEleven even worse]] than Sawada Tsunayoshi in this regard. He is practically the '''only''' person Tsuna can be regarded as the {{Seme}}.

* {{Niels}} has a series of comics making fun of the "rules" of homosexuality, especially ukes, starting with [[http://nielsg.com/niels-bitch the shorter man being the uke]]. The tropes all work out to the irritation and horror of the people involved.

* ''Manga/JunjouRomantica'' provides three different types of ukes. Misaki is type 2, Hiroki is type 3, and Shinobu a mix of both[[hottip:*:innocent and temperamental, if you're curious]].

* Doesn't actually happen but [[{{Subtext}} heavily implied]] in ''NeonGenesisEvangelion'' that if [[TheWoobie Shinji]] would return [[AmbiguouslyGay Kaworu]]'s advances, he would end up as the uke.
