* ''Series/FraggleRock'': The World's Oldest Fraggle makes Red carry a boulder, then tells her to drop it. It lands on his foot, making him yell while jumping up and down. Henchy, who is used to being bopped on the head by the World's Oldest Fraggle, finds this very amusing.

* ''Series/TheMuppetShow'': Floyd falls onto Kermit in a full suit of armour, making Kermit jump with his flipper in the air.

** ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'': When the player a chest without being directly in front of it, Link opens it with a sharp kick. If this is done without any leg armor equipped, he will afterwards hop in pain while clutching his foot.

* In ''Film/BirdsOfPrey'', Montoya stamps on Harley's foot while they fight causing her to hop in pain.

Whatever the situation, the result is the same. The character in question ends up hopping on one foot while clutching the other one, shouting in {{Angrish}} for a few seconds to indicate their pain.

* "Oh, my toe bone!" is a CatchPhrase of the title character in ''WesternAnimation/TheDeputyDawgShow''.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones'': After Barney accidentally drops a bowling ball on Fred's foot, he varies his usual CatchPhrase shout to "Yabba-dabba-di-yi-yi-yi-ee-hee!" and [[AccidentalDanceCraze inadvertently creates a new dance craze]] among Bedrock teenagers with his hopping.

* ''VideoGame/{{Aladdin}}'': In the Genesis version of the game, guards running across hot coals will grab their feet and hop in pain, leaving them open to attack from Aladdin. Aladdin himself can land on the coals without damage, but flames will almost immediately sprout up when he does, meaning he has to move quick or take damage.

* In ''Webcomic/EverydayHeroes'' strip, Iron Jane [[[[https://eheroes.thecomicseries.com/comics/98 throws a kick]] to an unsuspecting superhero from behind, only to learn the hard way where "Mr. Mighty" [[NighInvulnerability gets his name from]]. * On the DVD release of ''WesternAnimation/TheLorax'', there's a special feature in which the viewer can watch the characters playing with objects from the Once-ler's cart. If you select the cart to get more items, the Lorax kicks it and then hops off the screen clutching his foot.

* ''VideoGame/{{Pikmin}}'': In the animated short "Occupational Hazard", a red bulborb tries to get the titular critters out from under a wheel by kicking it. The problem is that a bulborb's feet are not that strong (not to mention the wheel being buried partially underground), so it ends up hurting its own foot instead, causing it to jump in pain.

* In "D.W. Blows the Whistle" on ''WesternAnimation/{{Arthur}}'', Arthur is astounded to hear about D.W. being a hero for having stopped a little kid from crossing the street without looking both ways first. "D.W., a hero?" he questions and then he drops a wrench he was holding onto his foot and starts hopping up and down.

* An early episode of ''Anime/PokemonTheSeries'' has a FunnyBackgroundEvent where an annoyed Pikachu kicks a treadmill that he just fell off of. His next action is doing this while squeaking in pain.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Wakfu}}'': A good one in season 1 episode 22: [[IdiotHero Sadlygrove]] is suffering from heat stroke in the desert, and is convinced the ruin he's stumbling toward is just another mirage. So he gives a good kick to its stone wall -- barefoot. Cue an X-ray shot of his poor foot bones, followed by the one-legged dance.
