The Booksmart and Superbad entry needs more cleanup but I haven't seen either and don't feel comfortable editing it further

* Film/{{Booksmart}} is usually seems like the female derivation of Film/{{Superbad}} because both movies basically have the same plot: A group of losers wants to go to the big last high school party before graduation. Although is fair to say booksmart takes its character arcs in a more serious tone, the movie as a whole has a heavy dramatic feeling. In the other hand superbad works better as a comedy with many memorable jokes. Also, superbad ends in a DownerEnding , while booksmart apparently would follow the same way, but the last seconds of the film makes it ends in a SurprisinglyHappyEnding .
* Film/{{Thirteen Going On Thirty}} is basically a female complement to Film/{{Big}} as both movies are about teenagers who wish to be grown-ups and with the help of some mystical forces their dream become true.

Turns out that the new host club for the Chevron Championship indeed built an 18th-hole pond to keep the tradition alive.

* ''Manga/KomiCantCommunicate'': Makoto Katai is basically the male counterpart of Komi. Both of them are high school students with serious communication disorders, which make them victims of some misunderstandings and Tadano is the OnlySaneMan who is capable of understanding them. Katai even considers Komi his communication master, hilarious as it sounds. The real difference between them is that, while Komi is seen by the rest of her class as [[WorldsMostBeautifulWoman the big beauty of the school]], Makoto, on the other hand, is treated like a [[RuleOfCreepy creepy guy]], sometimes even as a [[JapaneseDelinquents juvenile delinquent]]. This, of course, have [[DoubleStandard unfortunate implications]].
